leon I'm actually quite worried now about all this.

Me too really. I hope it doesn't mess up the whole structure of the club. We're such a stable club. I don't know if I really want this.

Lets not put a dampner on this great moment with nonsense about irrelevant clubs.

Surely the difference is that Madejski would only be selling if he thought the potential investor would be good for the club and take it forward?

Personally I like how we are run now, but saying that, if someone wants to come in and throw 10 mill at Nicky and Brian then I'm not going to complain.

Just wish it had happened in time for us to bring Siggy back!

I've been particularly holier than though over the last few years about how virtuous we are compared to the depraved masses in English football, and I like to think I'll jump ship if it all starts looking insidious. I won't. I'll almost certainly end up lapping it up. I'm all set up to be quite the hypocrite.

If we can be exactly as we are but pay a smidgen more than we currently do to ensure we're competitive I'll be delighted. The only thing I don't want is Leicester levels of spending in this division and City-style spending in the top flight. I like bringing players through the academy and I like plucking gems from the lower league. Just enhancing that model with a few drops of proven quality would be my ideal.

"Am I the only one who feels like the concept of a rich arab/russian/foreign type coming in and taking over some club, like for example Man C, and spending millions upon millions, and racking up £200M worth of deficit every year, devalues the entire league?
It basicly is no longer clubs competing, it's just rich people spending. The charm is all gone."

Only his hat will remain.

lol agreed Gav ^^

Fvck off morals, lets buy half the division and just brute force our way back to the prem with no class or skill IMO. Just pure brute force'll do me.

I am not sjm's biggest fan for what he has done recently( thats my opinion lets not get into it here) .What he has always done though is not allow us to get ahead of our selves this deal would seem to me shaking up to be a sound financial investment with the structure of the club remaining in place to allow us to continue to be a "stable" and "well run club" only difference now is hopefully we may be in a position to blow £xmillions if the right player becomes available, im not talking stupid money I just mean 1-2 million on 1-2 players.

royalexile Either way Y25/26 will be fcuked when the big berthas come in as stewards.

Tear gas and molotovs and hairy shot putters.

Jeez you're not wrong - any trouble kicks off in Russia and people die in schools and opera houses. Imagine what they'll do to a bunch of rowdy, half cut middle class boys from the shires. F*cked.

This is very sad. If he sells the whole club which undoubtedly he will we could be in deep sh1t in a few yrs. Dislike!

 we've done well because we don't go mad, but we've always needed that little bit of extra investment - let's just see how it all pans out.
