My fish was a cross?

Are you saying my naming policy was influenced by mongrelism?

you're wrong actually. There is no way in a million years he meant that, look at the flight of the ball. If you think that was intentional you started following football yesterday.

Well, I hate to back up finerain's angry vehemence but the reason it was a cross is because of the shape of his foot. You do not hit the ball with the outside of your foot like that - no one ever has that I have seen. It slid off the laces from a side foot cross and skewed into the far corner. I would suspect he was aiming for the edge of the six yard box in front of goal where he (correctly) thought the striker would be.

Didn't HRK shoot with the outside of his foot for our third goal v someone or other this season?

I don't think Rouge is saying you never shoot with the outside of your foot, just 'not like that', meaning not in the way that Kebe did.

It certainly didn't look quite right. It was either a bit of a miss-hit or a very clever bit of disgiuse/improvisiation.

My inclination would be towards the former.

For me, it didn't look obviously like a brilliant shot, but it didn't look like an attempted cross either.

He was in the right spot to blast one, obviously, but a lob was definitely on, but his body positioning ws wrong to do that conventionally.

I'll have to look at it again.

if you are a godlike footballer like me and kebe, you can shape balls with the inside, and outside of your foot

and his foot was foot shaped.

It's a fine case you've put together brendy.

Flawed only by it consisting solely of you saying "wrong" and kebe is infallible with no reference to what actually happened or reality. I have to say you've won me round with it. :P

melonhead terrible atmosphere, not least cos i was surrounded by the most irritating kids football team from langley who kept getting up and wandering around in front of me, and screeching in silly high pitched voices, and counting down with the clock.
BOOOOO children BOOOOOOO.

FYI - Just gone to book a ticket next to me for a mate for the Blackpool game (DD 160-ish) and despite it usually being pretty much always empty around us, the nearest available seat I could get was a good few blocks away. Methinks the kids are returning.
