dizzynewheights Before Reading reached the PL you never heard anyone talk about Friday. He's just become a symbol for old bores trying to prove they're not plastics. If he was half as good as people say he could have walked us into the 1st division

I took the bait so I may as well fish too:

Friday was a drunk who only scored one goal worth remembering which was likely a fluke anyway. He wouldn't make a championship game. LOLegend.

I can only gauge it on people i have seen in the flesh, listening to a few old pepple or reading about it in books will never mean that Friday gets a look in for me.

In my current lifetime there is only one contender and that is Parky.
