This lot are an embarrassment to the club and I despise hearing them.

They can't even get the songs right, in the "you are my Reading" song they miss out the second "when skys are grey" part and the ensuing nananana bit.

At least that's an actual Reading song even if they do get it wrong, what's the point in "Hitler has only got one ball" song and some of the other crap they play?

Ian Harte allegedly hid a hip flask in Shorey's kit bag.

rhroyal Unofficial assist to Alf for Kebe's goal; drawing the defender and dummying it. Great, intelligent play.

Looked like he tried to backheel/flick in in to me, but missed.

Not read the whole ream on this, but, as my first live game this season, Guthrie MOM (official and unofficial), honourable mentions to Karacan and Mariappa, even thought the penalty was harsh at the time but have changed my mind since seeing in on TV ! WBA looked a good team, could not really say they had any weak links, also they were 2-3 men down from full strength. Don`t play McCleary on the left again, he almost always checks inside back on to his right foot and therefore loses momentum, though he was very involved yesterday. Our never-say-die mindset won us through. Bring on the Geordies !

Our goal came from him checking in and playing an awkward cross into a good area :?

You can hear what appears to be a call to leave it, I thought.

I'd personally say it was poor defending on WBA behalf.

They may just have a very limited play list and were trying every number in their repertoire to get the crowd going - lets be honest, the atmosphere was very flat until around the 75 minute.

I've looked at that a few times and still not sure whether he was dummying it or trying to get a deflection with his back leg onto it.

Doubt it, that would be foul play / ungentlemanly conduct.

I agree he was trying to flick it in.

I've watched it over and have a third theory! Alf was in the beginnings of attempting an outrageous flick and then realised that, despite his brilliance, the likelihood of the ball flying past Foster was low. So he ignored the potential golazo and re-adjusted, and as the Alf family jewels were rippled by the turbulence, the ball bounced to the back post and Kebe dived in behind that big helmet Ridgewell all sneaky sneaky. Great goal!

BIG LOL at anyone who thought Alfie dummied it. He defo tried an audacious flick but was embarrassingly 1 second too slow. Still worked out alright tho.
