Looking at the first yellow card again though, a lot of refs wouldn't have booked for that tbf.

That was awful. Brighton should have won it at a canter to be honest.

Incredible negativity on here. Brighton are a good team which, if you recall, passed rings around us when we beat them 1-0 in the title-winning season.

I thought we adapted well after Pog went off. What do you guys expect?

What a load of gash. So much for the Adkins 'football revolution'. Lets play tippy tappy at the back under pressure, and then when we have time lets hoof it. At least under Brian it was consistent AND effective*.

*In the Championship - where we are now, and destined to stay with these tactics.

Checking in from abroad. Anyone know if the team was booed off at full time? It's early days yet so I hope not.

Take the point and clean sheet. Royston needs to get in shape.

Not a bad performance, learned nothing new from the game, we already know what needed strengthening in the transfer window. Getting the feeling this year will just be a stop gap with us trying to adapt to a new system.

Decent from Adkins at half time, good shape second half, full backs got forward well over and over again.

Was the booing aimed at the team or the officials?

Didn't boo, but in hindsight both probably deserved it...

Royal Lady McD must be relishing the thought of coming here on Tuesday.

As much as he should be, I bet he isn't. He gave a shit about this club, and although he is cleary irked by his dismissal, he probably still does. Perhaps more than the plastic permatan prick managing us now - but what do we expect... nee, deserve??

Maybe he fancies coming down a night early and joining us in the Purple Turtle once again?

It's going to take a while for us to catch up for the lack of footballing evolution under McDermott.

We could go back to hoofing it, but that would be a short term fix. We need to accept that it is going to take a while, particularly if the club aren't going to invest to support the manager.
