Royal Lady I've been thinking about this - why is he thinking about the play-off final when we haven't even got in the play offs yet, and unless she goes into labour that very morning, surely he should be available for the game, you know, as a well-paid player of our club and someone who should have a pride and passion for wanting to play in the final? So why is he already making excuses? :|


he's had the discussion with his wife, who has made it clear that she wants him at the birth, so if it happens that the baby is late and gets born on play off final day, he wont be available to play

Good on ALF, being a husband/ father/ human being ranks way above being a mere footballer. Would be disappointed in him if he'd not planned to be at the birth for the sake of a game of football.
However if we do make the final I bet she's induced on the Thursday ....

Agreed, good on him.

However, if we do get there and he misses it then bomb him out of the club as quickly as possible.
