Not really sure how to feel. Were we as good as Derby were shit? Should I feel happy with the performance or pissed off that we've not been anywhere near that level this season?

Fosu was great, as was Appiah, might be worth seeing if we can loan him again next season. We didn't miss Pog at all.

Got to be dreaming:

we kept a clean sheet
we scored from a corner
Feds saved a pen
We scored a pen
We won ... 3:0!

Great way to end a terrible season. You have to wonder why Appiah hasn't been more involved given the apparent improvement in our attack today.

I wouldn't get too excited, one result doesn't over-turn all our problems. Derby have been choking since February, there was absolutely no pressure on us and loads on them. So I'm not sure you could have set up a better chance for us to win against a team in the same division if you'd tried.

Pleased to see Fosu get a chance and offer something.

Still disappointed Kuhl has got no more minutes in the meaningless last 3/4 games.

Hope Pearce, Fed and Jem stay.

The one bright spot of the season - barring the second half at Wem-ber-lee....

From the armchair, the difference was Jem. Playing him behind the frontman to chase everything down was a masterstroke. And he did it relentlessly, high up the pitch. Left Dreary shilly-shallying around at the back with few options for a forward pass.

Fosu is not short on confidence but a) needs to toughen up but not in a HRK sort of way, and b) needs to get his head-up and look for a simple pass - we could have had two more if he'd done that.

That is the difference between a team with the musclebound Welshman and a lumbering carthorse Russian in it.

Appiah took the goal well, anonymous for the rest of the first half although he worked well shuffling across with Jem, and ran loads in the second.

Hector, another no nonsense, assured display - although I'd like to see him get his head up a bit more, too.

Having said that, Dreary were truly shocking. No desire, no passion - a bit like RFC all season, really.

Well you've made my day. Even better than the day you dumped them out of the cup. I seem to think they thought that would be an easy win too.
