El Diablo We're just not brave enough in the attacking third...until we're a goal down

Understandable to take it cautious away at 3rd when you're 20th and three of your four preferred attackers are out injured/sick and the one playing is carrying a knock.

McNulty was Coventry`s penalty taker last season, I think he scored around 6 of them.

People talking about meite like he's injured, he's just a fcuking cart horse. He's had a little spell but I'm not having him as a championship level forward.

On to the next two and Stoke and Sheffield utd will stuff us and that will be that for Clement I'm afraid.

Not a his fault, the players just aren't good enough including the terrible players signed under him, whoever actually did make the signings.

Best I’ve seen us play in a long while. Played as a team, all the youngsters did well, Jaakkola MOTM just a shame Loader didn’t take the pen. I don’t mind losing 1-0 when we play away from home like that.

It looked like a penalty from a player whose confidence looks utterly shot.

Thought we played it right. If we’d gone for it after 60 mins they would have picked us off

Settled down, made some subs and went for it in the last 15. Almost came off

Bristol Paul
Sutekh 1. Was never a penalty
2. Why on earth was McNulty allowed to take it with McCleary and Bacuna on the pitch?
3. Pretty poor going forward. A penalty and a free kick on target but little else to trouble the keeper
4. Pretty solid performance though. Can they maintain it against Stoke or will be another disaster?

1. Yes it was
2. He’s a striker
3. Agree, just don’t offer enough threat
4. Solid other than don’t offer much attacking threat

Is it just me, or do other teams always seem to close down more than we do?

It’s not just you Paul. I have mentioned it a number of times. We don’t close teams down anywhere near as much as our opponents do with us.
I feel for McNulty. It will be difficult for him to make any impression now, Swift must surely be dropped after that performance.
It is so frustrating. We just cannot pull away from the relegation zone. Another big game for Clement. Stoke is a must win for him.

What if Loader had missed? It would have been a big knock back for him.

People weren't expecting much from these two away games and we got 1, almost 2. Got to get a minimum of 4pts from the home games I'd say.

McNulty’s pens for Cov last year was excellent. Understand why he took it, wouldn’t have fancied anyone else much either

And he'd missed a couple already. Not much point playing McNulty if he doesn't take it,even though I wasn't confident and thought Bacuna would score it the way he'd played.

Simply giving the ball back to Leeds just puts pressure on our own goal.
Keeping clean sheets isn't our forte...we have to score, first..

oxf*rd you Chris Gunter and any absolute wet wipe who defends him. If he was a horse he'd be shot in the head for being continually lame.

I think he reads hna aswell, according to my old dear who does hair. He is sensitive by nature, and loves cats so when he reads harsh comments it gets to him.

I suspect he just asks himself what the expert fan critics have achieved in their lives. I shouldn't think he loses too much sleep over what they think and say then.

Maybe not, RB. But he should be looking at what Andy Yiadom is doing and stepping up if he wants back in permanently.
