PPG

Projected 46 Games

63.5 v 46 Pauno Much Better

Goal Difference

+1 Pauno
-3 Bowen

Strength of Opposition

12 Pauno (We played Top, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th)
14 Bowen (We played Top, 3rd, 6th, 10th)

I chose the 13 cos I had already done 13 after people kept talking about our last 11 under Pauno when the previous two games were wins, but more spefically because the last 13 were when Bowen played OLISE every game and I was looking at Olise.

You can choose 13 games, or 14, or 16 or ALL GAMES and I think Pauno wins every time

Snowflake Royal
Westwood52 I think the mistake would be in not making a clear headed decision now.The worst scenario is Pauno starting next season and then getting dumped after ten games when we are in trouble.Looking at the list of available managers;there really isn’t much there. However Pauno s team performance over the last eleven games has been awful. He has clearly lost the dressing room;with a fair few number of players just going through the motions.I have a horrible suspicion that O Shea might be appointed.

Lost the dressing room.

THE go to phrase to explain any poor run for half wits.

No lost the dressing room;is when the players don’t give it 100%,every time they cross the line.As far as the manager’s input in achieving this standard;it is either because they are scared of him,or respect/love him so much that they will go to the wall for him.I really do believe only a handful of players have given it 100% every game:McIntyre,Holmes,Morrison,Rino,Laurent and maybe Swift (who at times I have seen bust a gut to get back)
IMHO ,the worst culprits for chucking in the towel, have been Joao,Meite,Olise and at times Richards.Meite is a strange one as his attitude alters almost from one game to the next.

Nips in to thread to see Ian Royal still insulting people who disagree with him, like the mature adult he is.

Nips out again.

My opinion. Keep Pauno right now. We should give him a bit more time. We gave McGhee and Coppell time...even Hurley for those
old enough to remember.

This season what with covid, no attendances etc has been whacky. We have had a pretty bad run of injuries, and probably over the 45 games we haven't had our fair share of luck.

Pauno knows the players who will be here next year. He has his faults, but getting rid now or in the summer just doesn't make sense.

I am sure Pauno knows that he simply has to deliver in the 2021-22 season. That is the nature of football these days.

So for me:
Keep Pauno and his staff.
Maybe cash in on Olise whilst we can.
Clear some of the deadwood.
Pick up 3-4 players in the summer.
Look forward to the first league game in around 13 weeks time !!

Yet another relapse, what medication are you on?. I am not a racist, I don't hate people from a different race or colour, life experience has embedded in me a preference to be with people of my own kind.
