Have you read his other posts? It's articulate, measured and mature in comparison. He's always been an absolute clown.
This is not wrong.
However the EFL does need a better way of dealing with owners who do this, We are not the first case. The rules needs to be reviewed as it very much means that rogue owners can destroy clubs seemingly on a whim. What these rules can be is up for discussion but something needs to change.
Childish hidden messages and wishing death on people very much undermines what we as a fan base are trying to do.
Of course no one would actually do that last part. The Maxwell's boat bit is quite obviously a joke but airing frustration at what's going on.

Greatwesternline People also have short memories with regards to EFL punishments. We recently as a club got a game abandoned, which meant Port Vale had to travel to our ground twice, the second time on a weeknight (so had smaller away following) and lost.
Did we get a points deduction as the FA rules allow? No we got a suspended sentence. Anyone who thinks the EFL has it in for us needs to give their head a wobble.
They showed incredible leniency in that regard.

Tbf We got the same punishment as Blackpool did for the same thing. It's not leniency it's following the precedent that was set.

True albeit in that scenario it was the last game of the season and a points deduction would have no outcome on the destinations of either club, one was still relegated and one was mid table.
Our is different in that the season still has time to play out, and all outcomes are still possible for both teams. It's a weird precedent to set because if your team is short of a few players due to injury or suspension why not get the game abandoned and play it again later in the season when hopefully those players are back.

Veering off topic but maybe providing further evidence of how football governing bodies make strange calls around the world, a game was abandoned a couple of seasons ago in MLS due to lightning. MLS decreed it should be resumed from the minute and score of abandonment and that both teams could only field the same squads that they had done for the original game. This was despite the rearranged game taking place months later and after a transfer window had taken place! Furthermore, no allowance was made for players from the original game who were injured at the time of the rearranged/resumed fixture

About 2 seconds. If you don't like it, fcuk off back to your Bournemouth vlog. I mean, you went pretty much AWOL from here for a couple of years until, all of a sudden, you've got a vlog to promote so roll your eyes all you want, your return seems somewhat opportunistic

Because that's probably against the rules and would likely result in the offending club being thrown out of the league for bringing the game into disrepute.

fans getting a match abandoned is against the rules. how are you going to prove it. if a set of fans do it?

Yes, but the fans have done that off their own back without the club being involved - hence the constant messages from the club about staying off the pitch, etc... Fans probably should've been punished with a game or two behind closed doors. If the club were going to organise something like that it is going to take some sort of organisation and there will be a comms trail.
