Reading4eva The embassy needs to be a target. Maybe they are blinkered to what Dai Yongge is doing.
Dai doesn’t care nor would the embassy

From Despair To Where? We're chicken feed in the grand scheme of things. Dai clearly doesn't give a toss and the embassy/Chinese government won't either, not when he's got bigger and more serious charges hanging over his head back in China. If they want to pressurise him, they'll pressurise him for that, not what he's done to us. They have absolutely no need to get involved.

WestYorksRoyal There must be protests outside the Chinese embassy every week about Hong Kong/Tibet/Uighurs/Taiwan. A rotten government, and Dai would not be a billionaire without being one of their rotten cronies.
The idea that a protest about Dai may cut through has at least brought me something to laugh about in a bleak situation.

Forbury LionThey might put pressure on him to get rid quickly/cut his losses which might mean dissolving the club.Delboy Next protest needs to be outside of Chinese embassy they can influence Dai and would not be happy at him embarrassing them
I think the non-payment of taxes is the key thing here, that isn't something that looks good for Chinese investment in UK companies if it's seen to be the Chinese way of doing things, I mean what's to say he won't also try to avoid tax payments in China?

But we shouldn't let that stop R4E rocking up at the Chinese Embassy solo and trying to stage a violent protest sit in.
