Oh I see - I thought you meant "being gobby" outside of a game. Still never seen evidence myself of him thinking he's better than he is either and to be honest, if he does, it will only be fuelled further now by being a £5 million championship player!

Big loss... Will miss him next season. Big shame but good money for him and the club

Royal Lady I'd be interested in some examples of Mills being "gobby" btw - I think it's a complete myth. All this "he thinks he's better than he is" etc - I've NEVER seen any evidence of it. :|

well there's the story where someone (Sogs?) was sat in the stands near him and asked him something about how his injury was getting on or what a good player he was and Mills apparently replied by threatening to beat him up or throw a drink in his face or something.

Then there's the story about how him and his mates filmed him going a two footed flying kick into a display of something or other in a supermarket.

Open your eyes and you'll see there are a few stories out there. Keep 'em closed and sit in your own little "I love Matt Mills" world and you won't.

You're not exactly the best judge of character on here either are you, given some of the various problems you seem to have had over the years.

pea Yeah I realise that, just always makes me laugh when I see our fans moaning about all these 'undisclosed' fees!

But I suspect the only people kept truly in the dark by 'undisclosed' fees are the poor old fans themselves! Agents are sharp, footballers and footballing people have loose tongues. For those reasons I suspect many clubs have a pretty good idea what the undisclosed fees are and adjust their dealings accordingly.

Royal Lady
Agent Balti Out of curiosity and not in any way being a wum. What has Mills done off the field that many think he's a bit of a pcunter? I genuinely do not know.

Apparently, he was rude to someone off here when they spoke to him or something. God forbid he might want a quiet night out without being pestered by pissed up RFC fans or whatever.

I suspect Mrs & Mrs Sidwell, Glenn Little, Bobby Zamora and girlfriend might have wanted a quiet night out when we approached them in the Millennium Hotel restaurant one New Year's Eve. However, they couldn't have been more friendly and were prepared to take time out to sign autographs and chat.

Like it or not, as a highly paid star in the public eye you have to take a bit of rough with the smooth when it comes to your adoring public!

Mills too often displayed himself to be a sulky petulant git!

At times was a very good player but will never be a great player with that sort of attitude problem.

It was only a matter of time until one of them read our posts. Hope we don't put them off!!!

Honest Leicester fans we are just saying nasty things about Mills because we are desperate for him to stay really.

This undisclosed fees stuff is a nonsense. Surely the Inalnd Revenue have to be informed of all transfer deals. As fans we should know whats going on.

We only have a nobber's side of the story you "quote" I expect if it was in the stands there were other people around who would have corroborated said "story". I don't see how some silly stunt in a supermarket shows that he is gobby or thinks he's a better player than he is. Something which YOU yourself have declared in the past. And I think you'll find I'm over Mills now. I've already moved on.

I can already see him ploughing through Kebe and getting 2 yellows in 10 minutes at the KP (nuts) stadium...
Do you reckon Sven watched him a dvd amd decided to buy.
News say they're also trying to get Owen Hargreaves in. Big Bucks ahoy...

Oh yeah the supermarket shelf incident right up there with sleeping with your brothers wife in the footballers behaving badly stakes that one.

Rofleading fans literally crying over spilt milk.

Only the amounts paid and received would show in the accounts and many transfer payments are staged over a period of months/years so the IR would not have specific details of individual transfers.

You asked for stories, I gave you stories as I recall them, and shock you now instantly dismiss them because you don't want to believe them. Not everyone in the Mad Stad is registered on here RL, maybe there were people who saw it but don't post, did that occur to you? I didn't say they were true. I don't know, I wasn't there. What it shows, if true, is that he isn't mature and doesn't have the sort of mentality I'd want in a centreback.

So she's right then. You don't have any evidence about Mills' behaviour off the pitch just hearsay from other parties.
