akranes With all due respect... Leigertwood would be the anti-Christ to our new passing 'regime'

Yep, look what happened at Wolves when they tried to make the donkeys play passing football. They undermined the manager deliberately because they knew they'd be first to go once the transfer window opened.

That Nordic donkey they got in to manage them hardly helped things!!

If you are referring to Solbakken, you are horribly wrong.

“Morgan hired me because he wanted to build a new culture, create a new identity and make sure the club wasn’t ridiculed if given another chance in the Premier League.

“It was surprising that he thought this would be done in 15 minutes. My intention was to build a team over three transfer windows and get the right balance in the squad.

“But he got tired and went back to the previous culture. It still hurts.”

Indeed. After 10 games, Wolves had 19 points with the Nordic Donkey. It was after that the wheels fell off in spectacular fashion.

It was a shame that he only got 12 points from the next 16 matches though.....

Carrico should be total class. He was Sporting Lisbon captain for crying out loud!
A full pre-season should see him at his best, just depends if it's for us or someone else....

Yeah. Total class bought for a few pennies. Sporting must be kicking themselves for not appreciating the real value of a one legged player.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... match.html

He missed Mourinho's last Madrid match with a bad back... so why was Ronaldo clubbing in Lisbon until 7am?

.............

Despite Ronaldo's injury, he is thought to have flown into Portugal on Saturday and is believed to have gone for late dinner at a restaurant before eventually meeting up with some footballer friends - including Reading's Daniel Carrico and countrymen Manuel Fernandes - at the club.

If Carrico doesn't persuade Ronaldo to come here then as far as I'm concerned he can fork hoff.

TheSiege Class is class and he has already shown he has it.

he has only played 75 minutes for us, and more than half of that was his first appearance in which he struggled to kick the ball straight

Bit different when they openly court offers - means they would prefer to be elsewhere.

Don't blame him after McD
