its tough on the lads especially in this demanding league

yeh is ridiculous

its all over

again lack of composure by sodje at the last. in this league there is no way you can have a shakey debut....you get punished!!

Still only 1-NIL, so can't have been that shaky.

Heskey scored though.......

everyone's in the same boat though - if we're not fit this early into the season, what do you think we'll be like by the run-in?

Royal Lady I'm just not sure what the answer is - if we can't attract top quality players and we're not prepared to pay over the odds for anyone - we're pretty stymied I'd say.

exaclty my point.

No. What I do think is that we've all been spoilt by the best season in the club's history and that we've only played three games in the Premiership and already won one. Take a deep breath and relax. What exactly were you all expecting?

Having to play with ten men for much of Wednesday's match had to be tough and probably resulted in a less-than-efficient performance today. But HEY! We'll bounce back. Trust me I'm a Reading supporter...

Harold My gran is a better footballer than Emile Heskey!
so's mine and she's been dead 15 years.

I just wish we'd signed some grannies who could secure us three points!

this is desperate im sorry, blaming the fact wigan haven't played as mant games as us. It was their first home game, they outplayed us and deserved to win. we need to step our game up, but there is a whole season ahead of us

They were scheduled to play one of the teams in the Premiership who were involved in Europe this week, so theyve got a game in hand at some point yes.

Thats rubbish, we`re in the big league now, we should be fit enough to compete, what really concerns me is if we get few or no points in the next two games its going to get really tough, we will be playing catch up for the rest of the season

Agreed. We are going to have to get used to playing against opponents with fresher legs as those with large squads have the luxury of being able to rest tiring players.
