Rosenior expressing his thoughts on the move.
Thought this was an appropriate thread?

Usual footballer banality there from Liam.

Well he quickly got over his desire to stay at Reading and make the Premier League with us.

Just shows he's media aware, if not clever enough to disguise that he's just spouting what he thinks he's expected to say, rather than what he thinks.

Do you seriously expect him to say. I really did not want to come to Ipswich but Reading thought I was rubbish and shipped me out and I had no other options but to come and play for mad Roy Keane?

Good riddance to a f*cking awful player. Poor positional sense, cost us plenty of goals in his miserable 2 season spell. His crossing makes Kebe look like Glen Little.

I am indifferent about the guy. Had some good games - drove the team forward at times.

I am thinking of Sheff Weds away and Watford/Coventry home last year.

But yes not a good defender and thought he was better than he was.

No need to be nasty about the guy.

Bit rich after your comments about Rodgers the other day.

My apologies. I don't like Rodgers. Find him a bit cocky. But shouldn't have said what I said.

On the BBC website. Bless him, nothing changes:-

Ipswich Town defender Liam Rosenior says he believes the club can still challenge for promotion despite a slow start to their Championship season.

He told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I just want Ipswich to go up and I want to be playing in a promotion team.

"We've got all the attributes to do that here, we've just got to keep winning and winning."

The 25-year-old is on a season-long loan from Reading where his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, Rosenior says it is too early to consider a permanent move to Suffolk.

"As long as I'm doing my job on the pitch, I'm not too fussed about what happens with contracts, " he said.

"All I can say is that for the time I'm here I'm going to give my all to Ipswich and try to make sure that next season we're playing in the league above."

Won't be there for long. He isn't consistent enough, he'll be working for a complete basket case, but most importantly he doesn't want to be there.

I reckon he will have retired within the 2 years or so because he isn't good enough to play for the type of club he thinks he deserves, and his ego won't let him play at his true level.

Rosenior>Cummings. Possibly forever.

So, as it's a loan, maybe we can get him back, but then like Harper, he wasn't part of the New World Order (of lower pay).
