brendywendy actually reading fans are different t o any other fans. see coppells car park demo, the same week that the other relegated teams were demonstrating to get rid of their managers.

and no one was praising kitson after his drink driving, or lita after his fights - by the way.

True. We're a strange fan base if truth be told. At so many matches the support is seemingly apathetic (library has more noise, etc) and yet the passion is there amongst much of the fan base.

some one mentioned on another thread- even this season, and last - when we went for ages without a home win, most fans in teh ground stayed pretty positive.
i think its down to our strange non footbally demographic of middle class familys and office workers

3 veesinarow I have read it all again and again and again - your "considered" view is that one kick doesn't outweigh two years (something I happen to actually agree with), but that anyone who does (and therefore OPPOSES your view - look it up in a dictionary ) must be a retard. So, yes, you did insult people who simply have a different opinion to you.

You're wrong, I'm right, and you know that too. I really don't need to explain anymore than that.

Oh, FFS. :|

Blind irrational arrogance is no defence, either.

I'm not - and never have, read it back yourself - asking you to explain your view about Mills. Telling me "I am right and you are wrong" is a gambit only augmented by solid incontravertible facts and the merits of Mills as a footballer can only be based entirely on opinions on both sides of the divide.

Your stance is that anybody not having the same view as you is "probably a retard". Your arguments therefore lose all credibility.

I just want to watch the games, have a chat about whats going on and cheer my team on when they do something good or need a kick up the back side.

Not chant songs all afternoon, If I wanted that I'd go to the karaoke bar.

The thread serves a nice purpose: to show that most of us aren't as negative, even about Mills, as the extreme among us would make it appear.

Absolutely. I refused to take part in choral singing when I was at school, and I'm not going to start now. I do involuntarily roar and cheer; but shouting out remarks from the depths of the crowd, however cathartic, strikes me as singularly pointless.

agreed on the 1st bit, and you clearly are totally backing up the demographic argument there.

second bit, i guess,
although we, and the players all appreciate that we need a good atmosphere to attract new fans, and to get an extra 5 percent out of the players when needed, so your refusal to not sing at all, impacts the team, and the business.

I meant the ones who chant that Kanu song every 5 mins for the whole game. I've realised my tickets for tomorrow are the same as last time I was near them, thats all
