Surely Feds has to worry about his stay in the team when Macca gets fit now.

JordCot You just think cut out the stupid errors (Tabb + Fedders) and play like that we can tear apart most teams in this league. Very impressed with HRK on the right tonite, never seen him play well on that side and it lets Jobi play in his best position

We've been taking positives out of every game. The only win we've had, we hardly deserved.

Plus, we like to put on a show for the rest of the world. Expect us to play awful next game.

Hampshire Royal Most people were expecting us to be hammered today. We weren't!! Man U were the better team, but we weren't that much worse. The way we played in the second half was good to see, if we carry on playing like that we will not go down!!

We were lucky though, Van Persie should have had two more and would you still be saying that if we had lost 6-3?

I am afraid not sir. Macca is out for the season. We may as well play a giant jelly baby in goal.

I think that I have said this before but all that HRK needs is a belief in his own ability.

I was in no way expecting to get anything from this game so I am not going into meltdown because we didn't.

Same old, same old, we were competitive just not good enough to get something from the game. So close but yet so far...

The van Persie 'goal' should have been given, but it wasn't. We've had similar decisions given against us (Torres' 'goal', for example). The one he missed - well it's good to see that even he misses simple chances.

A fantastic performance by the team had we played like that against Villa we would have won. Same for Wigan.

Now weaknesses. Federici isnt the best keeper we have but cant do much about that. Hopefully in the FA Cup we'll get someone half decent (Blackpool?) and can play Anderson in goal to gauge how good he is. Legs is slow but reliable when he can win the ball back, however problem is in this league he cant do so. He is the reason our defence is being tormented now, not down to Gorkss being in there. Replacement I feel we do have in Karacan, but of course he is injured again. For the time being though, it should be Guthrie, but if Karacan isnt available in Janurary, we need someone else. Pog is shite and can go back to Tom Tom or whatever hole he come from. He appears lazy, uninterested and just picking up his paycheque. Need to sell him, and bring in Jordan Ayew or place an ambitious bid for Zaha.

Positives. Le Fondre, fantastic. Roberts was great in pissing Manure off and especially Evra. Hunt 110% man makes up for lack of quality. Tabb was fantastic today, my second man of the match gave 110% and was bright. He knows hes not Lionel Messi in disguise, but plays the sensible ball. McAnuff was very good and HRK was unbelievable. If we go down we could lose him, Kebe will struggle to get back in. Morrison again very good, with Mariappa not the finished product but growing every week. Maybe we do need another centre back or even 2 and let Mapps go back to Watford to get that experience. Shorey was very good distrubtion wise signing of the summer. Cummings worked hard and couldnt be faulted.

The issue... Legs doesnt compliment Tabb, we need someone who can do a job with Tabb and Karacan is that man but if hes out we need to start Guthrie and get someone else in in Janurary. Pog shouldnt even be on the bench, he should be in f*cking Huddersfield instead of Church, never thought I'd say that but I just have. Signings needed - Jordan Ayew or Zaha upfront; Whittingham or Lallana in centre mid; Ince (would still like to see him though not urgent) too; Centre back - not sure... someone with a lot of Premier League experience and fast, we cant have a guess on the championship; Goalkeeper - if not Andersen, Cudicini?

Yes, I agree that we deserved a slice of luck, however the point remains that we were very lucky not to have conceded more, even with Gorkss out we are still suspect defensively

I like Tabb, but he was at fault for two goals today.

Also, your suggested signings would be great, but you're kidding yourself if you think we've got much chance of signing any of them. Zaha and Lallana?! You seriously think we've got the cash to prize those two away?

I remember thinking after the Chelsea game that we'd go on from that with so much confidence and power on, then missed out due to Sunderland and the international break, but maybe this time we'll crack on properly
