It all comes back to personnel.

Looking at that the two teams today - I'd argue that at least 8 of the Wigan players are, on paper, better options than their Reading counterparts; and it might be more if a) I had heard of Beausejour, and b) rated Emerson Boyce. And the other one is Di Santo because his goalscoring record is shit. But is he worse than Hunt? Probably not.

And that's the sum total of two transfer windows. A team significantly worse than Wigan's.

Akpan and kelly have been phenomenal signings. But yes, our window was over all embarrassing. No saying we didn't try though. We'll learn from it.

I thought in the build up, it was almost as if Harte didn't know how little time was left. Nothing to lose with pumping the ball forward in that instance, whether it be down the channels or straight into the box.

Think most of those will happen but not Jem who will be useful in the chumpionship. Sadly BM loves Leig and Jobi too much. Hunt probably needs to move on as we will need to rebuild. Roberts and will retire and Pog will not want to drop into the chumpionship as well as we will not want to pay his £60k+ a week.

Ready for championship in 2-3 seasons. From the little I've seen of him and most importantly what ive heard of his attitude, I'd be delighted if I don't see him play for reading for another 2-3 years. Unless he really pulls his socks up, learns hes nothing special and learns the pace of the English game over the summer
