but youre already at the ganme anyway, sat in the stadium, since you cant specify a good game when you buy the ticket.
surely then youd prefer the bad game and win double?

I'm at THAT game but I why would I continue to go if games aren't enjoyable to watch? Like many, I'm just going to lose interest in it.

Bit of a straw man. I'm saying that, as time goes by the effort it takes to go to watch football every saturday would become less and less worth it if the football on offer was not entertaining me.

It's why I ultimately watch sport. If that makes me a bad fan in your eyes, so be it - but I'm not sure why people feel proud of wasting money and chunks of the weekend watching shit football because it's their team. But then maybe they don't have much else to do.

Aye, it's not complicated: If the football remains free of entertainment, I won't feel like going any more - times have changed, I'm not a kid along with his dad, a yoof bonding with a gang of friends, or a man needing to belong with a lot of spare time on his hands. I like watching sport for fun. Not really sure what other reasons there are.

Are you lonely or something?

I said right at the start that I'm not that fussed paying for a season ticket if football isn't entertaining to watch as that is why I watch it.

just saying if the level of entertainment hasnt really changed much, you not being bothered any more is clearly nothing to do with the entertainment on offer.

I think the level has changed, though. The last two seasons the football has been boring.

Football wasn't great during our promotion season but was entertaining. Enjoyed the drama of McDermott's rescue season and the bravado of the season after that. Loved the gung-ho nature of Steve Copell's side and the gems he unearthed. The new era excitement of Pardew. Then you go back to Elm Park and I guess reasons for going were different then, aye.

Its amazing that we are still 6th, just shows how bad the league is. If we get play offs it is unlikely we would win it and go up but I wouldn't be surprised. Scary thought of what would happen to the team in the Premier League though lol.

Agree that a big clear out is needed, but definitely not the manager. The problem is far more the fact that the players aren't good enough, not the manager. After a clear out, and some of the right type of players coming in to build on the decent (sometimes) championship team we already have, Adkins could take us up next season.

melonhead shit game 3 points>>>>>>shit game 0/1 points though

shirley

Obviously.

In isolation shit performances / games are bearable if they aren't hurting your league standing. Not long term though. And shit performances certainly don't breed points well. And shit to watch play is rarely a point winning formula.

Watching somebody play sport well >>>>>>> watching somebody find a loophole in sport, play it in a shit way but still win IMO

Bit sad to follow sport just for the winning.
