I've heard that Blackman is stalling on the deal as he doesn't want to have to find a new phad, prick.

Happy to see him go if we can get £2m+ for him. Would be really annoying if the arrogant c**t left on a free in the summer.

Looking forward to seeing who we have got lined up to come in with seemingly Blackman on his way and Samual extending his loan, we are certain not to be looking ahead to the rest of the season minus 2 strikers.........................that wouldn't be the Reading Way would it ???

At a client's in Leeds today (currently on the train back to London); one of the people there is an ardent Sheffield Utd fan, and he said that the rumour up in Sheffield is that Blackman has bought a house up there and is a definite to go to Wednesday.

Not claiming to be ITK, or that my client is ITK; just posting what he told me he had heard.

Cox. And it'd be three anyway. Sa, Vydra, Liburd. And Piazon has played in behind a single striker too. Plus HRK.

Can't see why would Blackman would move to Wednesday. He'll have much better options in the Summer, if not right now.

I didn't say it was inspiring, just that there are options in the squad.

loyalroyal4life Bet it turns out to be more like £1m

Well given how much McDermott claims to have had to spend when promoted it seems reported transfer fees are inflated to more than twice the actual figure.

If Blackman has allegedly already bought a house in Sheffield then that must mean the deal was done weeks ago.
Is it possible for a cash buyer to complete a house purchase in 24 hours ?
Bit of a risk if he happens to fail a medical ....

Can't say I'm pleased seeing this. Not because Blackman is going because he has been distinctly average except this season but the fact we are selling one of our better players to a rival championship club who are at best a sideways step (no disrespect). Shows how far the club's declined in the past 5 years.

Maybe we have only extended the Samual loan till the end of January in case we have the rare scenario of " we tried to do some business but we wern't able to on this occassion" rare I know, but a possibility.

Derby and Wednesday are bigger clubs with bigger fanbases.

No chance we'd get anywhere near £8m or even £3m for a bloke with 6 months left on his contract and had a good 6 weeks in 3 years. You lot are deluded for thinking otherwise :|

We probably accepted a bid in the region of £1m.
