Only Reading could go away to Millwall with a youth team and spank them and then lose to bloody Port Vale in the same week.

Selles worries me a bit, far too early for judgement though. Have a horrible feeling we might end up regretting not appointing a League 1 management expert.

Same old Reading, same old managerial appointment errors.

Personally I'm giving him til the end of September to show what he's got.
Tuesday's game is absolutely crucial though, cannot lose at home to Cheltenham or they'll be serious questions being asked.

Just heard the Dellor post match interview with Selles.

Very interesting how he openly felated P.Ince after every game last season no matter what but has gone full attack mode on Selles after 3 games.

Snowflake Royal
South Coast Royal Same as last Saturday.
Looking confident early on, passing the ball around nicely and seemingly the better side.
This time against a side that won't finish as high as Peterborough and that lost 7-0 last week we let them into the game (no high pressing), they grew in confidence, we didn't and they could well have won by 2 or 3.

Last season our defending was abysmal and we created very few chances.
Early days for sure but our defending remains abysmal and we still create few chances but now at a lower level.

I feel disappointed for the good number that made the journey-we are a difficult side to continually support when they so often fail to deliver.

Unfortunately Andy Carroll is becoming the scapegoat-he can't be faulted for any lack of effort whereas Azeez just produces so little and has become the new Loader in not fulfilling his early promise.
Time is obviously on his side but at the moment he, like quite a few others, really doesn't warrant a starting place.
It looks like being a long old season unless those other promised signings come to fruition.

One of the main criticisms of Carroll was how badly he reacted to being needled and fouled all game. He was on a red card tightrope.

He also missed a penalty. Completely different game if he scores.

Yeh ridiculous how someone that experienced can get so rattled by a pub player.

Expect it's do with Selles being a foreign.

Absolutely, Tim thinks he can trip up the foreign boy doesn't he?

Well quite. Realistically, any team that lose to Cheltenham at home (as a result that isn’t anomalous) probably deserve to be in a relegation battle anyway.

Their own fans called it all week. Saw loads of references to their 6 getting Carroll sent off. So naive. Their lad was a disgrace and an embarrassment to call himself a professional footballer, but we have to be smarter…

We're in league one, if we are near the bottom after 10-15 games it's not good enough. We should be doing better

Agree. Too soon but I'm not liking what I'm seeing and if after 10 games we are looking like a carbon copy of last season the call needs to be made. Yesterday was unacceptable on so many levels.
