genome Broken nose for Pearcey according to Mr. Watts, no surprise there. And he still got up and saw the last couple of minutes out.

I have to say, although the football was non-existent, I was impressed with our level of effort and spirit. I've doubted the character and togetherness of the squad recently and I was pleased with it today, and they need to keep that for the replay.

Yup, looks pretty broke to me. Good job he wasn't pretty to start with.

Please don't tell me this went out to a global audience-it was an awful game.

TBF Dim & Co on Berks thought we showed some guts in coming away with a draw. Much harsher on here.
I think SC had a plan & the boys stuck to it-would Adkins have gone down the same route ?

Feds: Cool & calm apart from the one that hit the post.
Kelly : Saved us on two or three occasions-but as usual little threat going forward.
Obita: Biggest culprit with hoof ball.
Hector : Very very good.
Pierce: Bradford were so limited-he looked comfortable.
Chalobah: With Hector our best player.
Williams : Strong first half then disappeared.
Mackie: Ditto.
Norwood: His class was supposed to make the difference -but he was poor again.
Pog: One piece of class & worked hard.
Kanu: Never in the game.

Ref: Actually rather good.

And oh Wigan/Blackpool & Milwall all went down the toilet.

Royal Rother If it was a deliberate act (with the intention of making fun of a tragedy) then the people who acted it out are scum of the lowest order.

Presumably bobby's vehement response suggests he believes / knows otherwise.

I in no way agree with anyone bringing them into the game. I agree they're stupid.

But I think it's moronic to associate the persons actions to them being insensitive to the bradford fire. I can't believe we are talking about it.

I don't know how we could believe the person bringing them in would have consciously done so due to what happened all those years ago

I think it's probably just a typical case of youth ignorance and lack of any type of awareness.

Nothing malicious - just thick.

Hope you are right. How often has it happened before?

As a lifelong Bradford fan I just wanted to come on here and say please don't let the smoke bomb incident over shadow anything. Our fans are quietly dignified about the fire, we don't talk about it much, the shared grief is something that makes our fans bond rock solid. I have not heard one Bradford fan bad mouth your fans in any way and nobody thinks for one minute that it was an intentional disrespectful act. It's obviously not cool, but I am positive it was just someone who thought it would be funny, and no doubt looked around him to looks of "really??!!". Your fans seemed like a good bunch, the game wasn't pretty but we are used to not pretty, our pitch is evidence of that, good luck in the league - not in the cup obviously!! :)

Platypuss
Avon Royal That was horrible to watch in every way.

So glad it's over.

^^^This

Was like something down Coley Rec on a Sunday morning.

After a few minutes I said this isn't going to be pretty and after half an hour I also thought I was watching a Sunday morning game!
