You’re getting confused with Holmes master Royal.

I think Holmes is horribly scapegoated and his lack of pace is mistaken for shitness.


When you play in a manner which allow your weaknesses to be exploited, then you’re shit. Some of the best defenders in the world are slow af.

He gets caught too close and too high up. That being said, positionally he’s pretty suspect.

I think a lot of it is defensive set up and screening, some more is just being closest to scorer without making a mistake and getting blamed. Undoubtedly made some mistakes though. Not playing well.

But we're disorganised, open and slow. Any defender will make mistakes.

Part of it is I also think he gets picked on unfairly where others are worse, and he's ours. So I've got his back.
