I'm not sure I'd like Gala buying us. Seems odd a club owning a club. Where are the finances come from to run the club.. or would they just hope to run the club on our youth players and theirs, with the odd first team Gala loanee. What would their intentions be, etc.. I suppose it shouldn't make me any more nervous than anyone else coming in, but it just doesn't seem right - and what happens when the mighty Reading meet Gala in a Champions League final?

One of those translations make it sound like they'd do it to make a quick buck off the premiership money.

I wish I could understand this properly. Are Galatasaray buying us?

dont worry, i am fluent, let me translate for you:

Reading Management, Galatasaray ' our club ' Get recommendations made .

20 million pound bid to the frame of the Championship teams , in case of promotion to the Premier League will be 63 million pounds .

Last year, the club where his brother to purchase English Reading Club Galatasaray came a proposal . 6 Championship already in which ranks and struggling to rise to the Premier League Reading a portion or all of the shares purchased was recommended to Aslan . Reading, rises to the Premier League , British association publications directly from a pool of 63 million pounds ( 105 million dollars) to pay . 55 points, 6 the current position of the club for the Premier League play-off 's entitled to play . Reading average of 28 thousand people in the field of play , the rest is left in the pot after 13 games in the Premier League itself will buy rises to the person or organization will be highly profitable . Otherwise, investment expenditure from the body for the next season will be inevitable .

particularly interested in getting the magical god like lion Aslan on board
and concerned at our average of 28000 people on the field of play

It's sounding increasingly like Madejski may be turning into a football club owner's version of Yosser Hughes - 'Gissa offer'

melonhead Gissan offer

Yes, you are right. If it is to be grammatically correct. But would Yosser have worried about being grammatically correct or would he have just gone with 'Gissa' regardless of what followed?

ZacNaloen @JemKaracan4 Hi Jem, hows your turkish these days? http://amkspor.com/2014/03/14/galatasar ... or-272509/ are Gala buying us? #readingfc

It's worth a go.... :?

Just in case people are interested in a real translation (Since i speak fluent Turkish)

The article basically claims that sjm has offered Galatasary some sort of ownership for 20 million pounds. Reading are waiting for a response from Unal Aysal which is the billionaire chairman of Galatasary so this offer could be a potential offer to Unal Aysal rather than the actual football club as the article refers to a potential first turkish owner in the premier league.

The rule about owning two football clubs in Europe might not be a big issue for Unal Aysal as hes the president rather than owner I believe as they have a presidential system much like Real Madrid and might be stepping down.

Other things I noticed:

Its claims that Hurriyet which is a reliable source in turkey is reporting this and if that is true it probably has some turth in the story as Reading never gets reported in Turkey so they would not be interested in random speculation. This story looses credibility for me as it reports we play in front of 28,000 every week and that Anton apparently bought us in 2002.

I don't think Hurriyet would waste time and make up speculation on a relativity small club in Reading and in my experience of turkish news sources they only report on us when something is actually going on.

And finally, Aslan means "Lion" in Turkish the nickname of Galatasary

Hope that helps for Non Turkish speakers...
