As long as he doesn't try and bring in Maradona as our manager.

Maybe he said "You could have it all if you wanted, You could have it all if it mattered so much" to him?

All I can see online is he and José Ramenghi [other key director at Malkatek] sought to buy Atlético Grau of the Peruvian third division in November 2013. Their plan was to turn the club into a Limited company.

Quote "We want to reposition Grau in football. We seek to invest in infrastructure under divisions, and in the next seasons football because Piura deserves professional football".

Doesn't look like it went through/has yet.

Beyond that, it's like he doesn't exist.

Surely any take over by anyone is predic8ed by Anto, firstly, wanting to sell and, secondly, his valuation being met. Madejski and the club can negotiate all they want with potential buyers but more than 50% of the club is not theirs to sell.

Absolutely, or maybe SJM is negotiating to sell his share alone. So 49 per cent would be owned by a Uruguayan mining tycoon who is all but invisible on the internet and a Russian would be tycoon would own the majority share despite apparently wanting nothing to do with the club.

It hardly adds up to a settled position by the club, or for the fans.

It's also possible of course that Anton has told SJM to find a buyer sharpish and will take what he has put in, but Anton would still have to give the go ahead for any sale as he is the majority shareholder.

And perhaps maybe Anton has to sell or pay money he does not have to buy the agreed 49%, which he has reneged on.

JM did say in an interview that he was now in charge again didnt he?

Anyway I guess we will have to see how it pans out with this rumour.

Yes, that he had the vote of the boardroom or something.

The £20 million can't be for the whole club - is it just SJM's share we're talking about here? :|

He'll be in charge of the day to day running because Anton's not around. He won't have any say over Anton's stake in the club though. Mr Zing could still theoretically walk back in tomorrow and start calling the shots again. That's a concern for SJM's men if we somehow manage to fluke promotion.

The quotes in Hurriyet said the value of the club offered was £20m in the Championship or £63m if promoted.

Yes, the agreement with Anton as I understood it was £25-million for 51 per cent. That would mean that £20-million would be for SJM's share alone.

If he sold it he would then have no foothold in terms of shares at the club at all, so would probably not be the chairman any more.

So who would be the chairman? Anton?

Arnie_Pie Galatasary President also linked - http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... ng-6840919

That's just copying what was put up on here but it does say "buy the CLUB" for £20 million - that is ridiculously cheap if so, and means SJM would get far less than he wanted and so would AZ shirley? :|
