Hendo

windermereROYAL All this sentimental , they have zero connection with the present regime and i doubt they even know who they are.
What has Parky even achieved in football management? just because he`s was classed as a legend by many doesn`t make him the right fit for us.

He is a very limited manager. Wrexham fans are becoming restless. A couple more defeats and he will be on his bike there I reckon.

If Phil Parkinson had never played for Reading and we were being seriously linked to him as our next manager, we'd be up in arms saying that he has failed nearly everywhere he has been and his record is terrible, especially recently.

His time has passed. He's done well a couple of places, Colchester in particular. But when he was on the up we were too big a step up. And now we're about the right level his career is well past its best.

He's basically only mentioned by the racist troll these days, so not sure why we're still talking about him.

It's like suggesting Curbishley, Keane or Hoddle. Yeah, 5 to 15 years ago maybe, but you're having a laugh right now.

Sanguine

Sanguine That 'invasion' (of what, 30 Y26ers?) at the end of the game was one of the most embarassing things I've ever seen at Reading FC. Anyone here associated with that should hang their head in shame, and if your mate was involved you need to give his head a wobble. Pathetic.

If only someone at the club could have taken action to prevent it.

You're so entitled.

I'm so hurt.

That's going to be a gif for the ages. Wonder if it will rival the big guy passionately giving the 2 fingers on both hands.

Why would anyone want Warnock as our Manager? Seriously, the guy HATES us! Also - and I appreciate that some younger fans may be unaware of this - but he instructed his players to try and break Sidwell's leg in a game, and he also instructed Gillespie to elbow Hunt.

As with other truly nasty people who have survived in plain view for Years, he gets away with being a total cnut by being seen as a "character" and by the press lapping up his schtick.

it was an utter cringefest - which then just fuelled arguments and objects at each other from own fans in Y24 etc - not a good look.

And yet here we are potentially rejoicing the eventual sacking of the clown possibly thanks to them.

What's cringeworthy is the apathy tbh. 8 straight defeats and we can't understand why people might invade the pitch for the manager to go!?

(I wasn't one of them btw).

Mr Angry Why would anyone want Warnock as our Manager? Seriously, the guy HATES us!

I don't really think he hates us any more than we 'hate' him. All just hot headed banter. We all get passionate but I thought generally we appreciate a character like that in the game.

He's a really good manager perfectly suited to our situation and there's no actual evidence that's true about him.

He's always claimed he was complaining about and miming an earlier challenge.

I'm inclined to believe him. Warnock isn’t stupid. He's not going to dramatically mime to someone to break a leg live on TV. And what possible benefit to his side would there be of getting Gillespie sent off before the match restarts.

Give your head a wobble. He's a fun Pantomime villian, but to actually believe that. :|

So, is there anyone on here who is ITK? Or at least, do we know whether this runner or not today? I mean rumours are rumours, but anyone know what’s cooking in the background?

We are wishing it over the line but reputable and a couple of news outlets are reporting it, we can only hope it gets announced soon or it could be a long agonising day.

Well, let’s hope for both your and her sanity, we get it over the line.

On a more serious note, what’s holding this up? Is it compensation? Let’s do a collection, we might get a bit together before 12pm
