Great news. Fantastic start to my holiday in Turkey having flown on Thursday. 3 brilliant signings, to beat Hull would cap off a great few days.

No mention of Brett Williams being one of our strikers.
It will be interesting to see how and who we play up front with only Manset really having any physical presence could this mean an adjustment to our long-ball game?

Why no quote from the man himself - shocking!

Im guessing he didn't really want to come here and was hoping West Ham came in for him........

Wow, relatively articulate for a footballer, genuinely excited to be making the step up and determined to get on the pitch asap and start scoring goals. I like him.

Fairly surprised to see him take number 9 shirt, but good signing, everyone's hoping he can make the step up!

And if we ever get relegated to League Two, we're sorted for goals with Alfie and Beast

Barry the bird boggler Marcus Williams has no future at Reading (didn't even make the bench for the Charlton debacle), he'll go as soon as an offer of any sort comes in. If he's still here this time next year I reckon we'll be looking to mutually agree a deal to terminate his contract.

With regard to Adam Le Fondre, if he does sign, wonder how long it'll be before the idiots on here start slagging him/the club off for not showing ambition/not being good enough/not scoring shedloads every game.

By the way isn't fondre the French word for melt?

Certainly is......... & Adam is Hebrew for 'red' so ..........Red The Melt, hmmm doesn't really scan does it? lol

My only concern is why he has taken so long to reach this level of football with his excellent goal scoring record.

?

Could be a reflection of English clubs being unwilling to take a chance on young players from our own lower leagues, maybe? We on the other hand, have a record of doing that and more often than not I'd wager, making a success of it. Good signing I reckon. I assume you are of the same opinion? Interested to hear what you think if not.

I still think we're a defender short, but it's been a good week.

Didn't Brian say in an interview that we weren't interested in him?! Nicely done!

I agree, he's hungry and confident in his own ability- Halleluja for that- something Church could do with. I think he could form a great partnership with Manset- Exciting signing
