I watched the game on a live stream. Can't remember the name of the channel, Sport TV or something. But the summariser on the commentary was excellent! He knew his stuff about Reading because he referred back to incidents from our previous games and his analysis was bang on and fair. It did highlight how lame the punditry on MOTD/BBC is in comparison.

Exactly. Why does it matter what they say anyway, does it really change the way you watch the game or feel about the performance and the (lack of) enjoyment of it?

As for Stelling and the others of Soccer Saturday, obviously they're going to give us more time and discussion as they've got 6 hours to fill with no actual footage of football to give them a break. MOTD want to show as much football as they can squeeze in from the 6 or 7 games that are on. They don't want to waste more time talking about our pathetic attempts to compete at this level than they have to.
