Jackson Corner Gutted the day I renew my season ticket the first of the exedus begins and it's the one player I thought would stay. On the plus side Dubbery has signed an on for another year.........

Exactly why I decided not to renew. Exodus will start now the season ticket renewal deadline has passed........

Carlin20 Thanks.

I dont know why reading hate pompey???

Reading is a good club, but as a club you dont stand for anything as such.

I've read on here people saying reading are bigger than pompey?

I mean, WTF?

2 FA Cups
3 Finals
7 Semi Finals

Just our history in f.a cup. Yours?

Shall i go on?

Reading are a good family club who like wigan, have brought themselves up. Pompey, well, their potential is endless. With a new 36k ground imminent, this giant looks good. For the minute, we create our own history on the pitch.

You're a good club, like brighton and aldershot. But you're nowhere near in the same stature as Pompey or scummers (dare i say it).

Portsmouth is the daddy of all southern clubs.

If ever we needed reasoning for someone inventing the word C_UNT. Thankyou.

Victor Meldrew My fear is that we are doing a 1994/5 all over again when we had no parachute payments to fall back on which we now have.
Surely the £11 million of parachute money plus fees of about £10 million for players being sold plus savings in salaries will mean that we can at least buy a few new players to IMPROVE our side and give us a chance of promotion?
I'm not holding my breath and just fear that one of our two best strikers might go.
Good strikers are almost priceless as can be seen at all levels of the game so although Glen going is a bit sad it's nowhere near as significant as losing Kitson or Doyle.

Having maybe established a little bit of credibility with my 'source's' info on Little's imminent departure, I'm sorry to say that through my other 'source' that I regard as reasonably reliable I'd hear that Doyle had his mind set on leaving. However, that was a number of weeks ago, fairly soon after our fall from the top level and before there was any real clarity re SC's future, so hopefully he has changed his mind since then.

I think if Doyle stays (and I hope to god he does) he's gonna have a great season next year. He has a LOT to prove after having a terrible year last year. I think he could score over 20. I also hope Lita stays now. Lita, Kitson and Doyle is a brilliant forward line for the championship no matter what the other AP, Floyd and others have to say about it. Let's hope we can keep at least two of them...

Cheers for the link, did have a browse last night to try and find it. Such an honest and bubbly bloke on the radio, he sounded gutted to be leaving here even though that sounds strange as hes off to the FA Cup Winners, but he even got emotional when they played surprisingly his last ever goal which was the Chip at Plymouth.

Really hope he stays fit and gets a chance at Pompey, because he could do a lot of damage in a great side

Just listened to it as well. It really underlined what a top guy he is. Good luck with Portsmouth Glen. I can see him and Appy Arry clicking immediately - something that just might give him a chance of playing a good number of games. Here's hoping!

To be honest I partly said it to get a rise out of AP and Floyd who are so consistently negative about our chances of going up. I also wanted to state that the forward line we have is good enough to get us out of this division.

In saying this I don't want it to be last season when half of us try to suggest we will go up and the others say there is not a chance. I think there is a good chance we won't go up I just hope we will. I was going to say let's just get behind the club but I know that on HNA that means the opening of a tin of worms...

Could have got those two if we'd stayed up. No chance now, especially with the signs Coppell's been sending out about the club.

Put it this way, if you're deciding who to sign for and you see that one of your prospective managers wanted to leave less than two months ago and it took a last minute RTG protest for him to stay and then add to that players going on strike and shouting about about him not giving his new signings a chance, are you likely to want to sign?

It is a good line-up but depends a lot on two things

1) Whether those three players are our options come August. Both Lita and Doyle have been speculated to leave, and Kitson wouldn't look out of place on the books of most Premiership clubs.

2)Whether Lita decides to have another season long run of form that makes me look prolific.

Our forward line is easily good enough - far more than good enough in fact, but we could have Thierry Henry and Ruud Van Nistelrooy up front with the midfield we have and we still wouldn't score enough goals with Hunt and Kebe supplying the ammo (or lack thereof)

More fictional quotes, keep going this is funny

In fact I don't think I've even commented once on next season.

Although prospective players aren't likely to take a professionally cynical view of things !
For every Fae we have a Bikey, a Doyle, a Murty and I rather suspect most players wouldn;t give too much credence to what Fae has been going on about any more than players won;t sign for Man Utd becasue of Ronaldo wanting out.

Coppell's situation is hardly as described either.

If you're not prepared to confidently state that we're going to go up before knowing what our team/squad will be, then you can hardly blame people for criticising you.

Haha - well done I see what you did there! Maybe this is just last year's feud and we should all look to next season. It's a bit difficult not to carry grudge's over though.
