Geekins I think we can take comfort that the OS keeps on saying he is ill. They would've only mentioned it once if it was false and then kept quiet about it. So far, i say Kitson is staying.

I don't get it

T.R.O.L.I. If a deal for Kitson has been completed, it may be the case that, as with the potential deal for Shorey last summer, we are trying to sign a replacement before the deal can be announced. As RFC are always reluctant to do their transfer buying in public, I wouldn't be surprised to see a "Kitson sold but XXX signs" type story tomorrow.

And before any smart arse makes a comment - no, I don't expect Vin Diesel to be our new striker

If that is the case, we will sell kits for 4 million and buy someone shite for £100,000 = typical reading tbh

The daughter of Stoke City's Owner says:-

I am afraid for you its the real deal, Dad mentioned to me they were after him a few weeks ago, so once terms suit its just a matter of time.

Great player for us to pick up, and if we get fulop too they just need an experienced centre back, a fullback, left wing and maybe another centre mid and they'll be ready to compete.

Obviously gutted he's going, but LOL @ the 'if we get half a new team we might compete bit'!

Think which river the boatman is in
Imagine yourself in the same river
Now say out loud with a strong 'African' accent "I am in de" followed by the name of the river you imagine yourself to be in

Hint: It is not the Thames or the Amazon

If Kitson goes, Reading will be in the bottom half of the Championship.

With him we'll finish around 7th or 8th, without him we'll struggle.

And no, it is not a good move, it is almost as damaging to the club as Steve Coppell staying this season.

No, I only deal in football - I predicted we'd finish 8th in our first season in the Premiership in August 2006 and in November 2007 predicted that we'd get relegated. I also predicted Spain to win the Euros and placed a bet on Torres to score in the final.

Of course I know nothing though as I don't agree with you or Steve Coppell and I am negative scum because I decide to take things in before forming my own opinion. Booooooooooooooooooooo.

i dont mind a good footballing crisis every now and then but wallowing in something you are pre-empting is a touch tiresome. What were you like round the pants day area, you must have been unbearable!!. After the frustrations (and obvious highs and lows) of the Premiership, im just looking to enjoy the match day experience again at RFC and leave the real ranting and raving to others.

that part really doesn't make any sense. Why sell for just £2 million with unlikely add on clauses on bringing him up to nearer a more realistic value?

If this is true I am

Seems an odd choice for Kitson and us. The striker we could least afford to lose IMO and probably the hardest to replace and for a pittance.

If he does go to Stoke though, I fancy them to surprise people even more than I did before.

Say it ain't so!
