Uke Let's see what happens at the end of the season - we'll never know the full story as that'll all be covered by CDAs and Omerta

or that his being here prevented anton oxf*rd up as badly as with the hockey lot.Extended-PhenotypeUke
He's not investing wildly (did he ever?), but he's around and we have "proof of life" which is more than can be said for AZ...
And salaries are being paid.

Reading are paying players though it's own books, not JM's pockets.
So the difference between him being here or not is one more empty seat. Yeah, phew.

RoyallyFcuked As much of a legend SJM is, we know he just wont invest the cash needed to establish us in the PL so we should be happy for this to happen. Someone with deeper pockets is needed to take the club further, SJM has pretty much said that himself. Which is why as much as I'd like us to go up this season or next, without a new owner it would almost certainly mean coming straight back down again, with the cash being pocketed.
A proper buyer needs to be found, not a joke buyer like AZ. I would have said I'd trust in SJM to leave the club in very good hands, but after the AZ fiasco I'm not so sure. Lets just hope when it does happen its not a Cardiff or Hull style owner, or we'll be called the Reading Rhinos while playing in red at home.

Better the Anton sort of fiasco than Shinawatra, Gaydamak, Bates, etc.

ZacNaloen Because if our Wage bill is over 3 million a month then we might not have the income to cover it.

How on earth would we have a £36 million wage bill? In the premier league maybe, but not after dropping back down.
