BR2 Snowball,
Did you notice that one of the sides you expect us to beat (Scunthorpe)beat high-flying Forest last night?

Yes I did. It makes it more likely that we'll now finish second

 Whatever you're on, can I please have some?

Careful RL-Schards might be not be up to 3-4 times in 10 days(see earlier post by Snowball) .

Ian Royal I see snowcock is showing his usual levels of class with his obviously bullcrap bragging about all his fake achievements as if that makes him any better than anyone else or is in anyway relevant to the utter turd he posts regularly.

You don't see any of the rest of us bragging about our qualifications and work or life experience trying to give the impression that it somehow makes us better than others. D'ya know why snowy? It's cos it's meaningless and unbelievably easy to make up.

Once again he gives it out but can't take it back. Once again he treats the posts of others with double standards compared to his own. He's fine to post spurious redundent bollocks in the attempt to look clever and knowing and get away with being wrong by saying "if", or "could" etc. But if anyone else does it they're a coward and don't know what they're talking about. Clearly a man with no comprehension of social skills.

No wonder half the board thinks he's a moronic cock and / or has him on ignore.

leicsRoyal For a man who can remember every statistic for the last 20 years, I'm amazed snowball can't remember how many times he's had sex in the last 10 days!! Or is that a slip of the finger and should read 3.4 times!

I read it as ¾ times

wasnt really sure where to put this, what with all the thread culling

"Reading have now won only three times in their last 17 league games which also includes four defeats and a staggering 11 draws"

I knew we had drawn alot but I hadnt quite realised we had won so little

W5 D9 L3 in the last seventeen league games. In your quote, the numbers don't even add up to 17.

According to me it's not 3 or 5, but 4 wins in the 17

In those 17 games we have played Cardiff twice, QPR twice, Norwich twice, Leeds, Swansea

That's 8/17 against the top six, plus Hull twice, Watford, Burnley (4 matches) also against clubs in the top 11.

P17 W4 D9 L4 23-20 21 Points from 17

A 1-3 QPR
H 1-1 Cardiff
H 3-3 Norwich
A 1-1 Watford
H 0-0 Leeds
H 0-0 Coventry
A 2-1 Derby
H 4-1 Bristol
A 1-1 Hull
A 0-1 Swansea
H 2-1 Burnley
A 3-0 Doncaster
H 1-1 Hull
A 2-2 Cardiff
H 0-1 QPR
A 1-2 Norwich

I think that being married to a much younger woman makes a difference and I don't hold out too much hope for you and a long life ahead.
Still, what a way to go.

I don't know what arguments have preceded about the whole top six thing, but frankly if we are a side that has genuine playoff ambitions, and seen as we have to play everyone, then I don't think the fact that we've played some of the better sides in any way mitigates our form.

It's also worth pointing out that 17 games is over a third of a season, i.e. we're going to get a selection of better sides in pretty much any sample of 17 games.

I don't see anyone "mitigating" here. I have just made a simple, factual statement. The four defeats are by the top side, Champions elect QPR, Norwich, currently third, and Swansea, currently 4th. Three of the defeats were very narrow 1-0s, games we could have got points from.

Before today's game most people thought we needed 2 points per game for the next 15 games
and we'd have a decent shot at the play-offs. We draw 1-1 and the world ends, yet if we win
against Millwall that's 4 points from 2 games, smack on target.

Personally I don't think we'll beat them, but just saying, like...

D'oh! I read the results directly off the fixtures/results link to the left, assuming it was accurate. Would this be a good time to point out that there are apparently no concerns over the Boxing Day game?
