If you were Y26 then you may have had your personal space invaded, sorry.

Ah, so it was you doing the macarena at triple speed whilst sprinting towards the Leeds fans leapfrogging Royals as you went? :o

+1

I can guarantee I had a better night than if I'd attended.

I though it was decent value. A good atmosphere, a close game, strong tackles went in from both sides (bar Akpan). We had some decent shots on target, and many more just over or wide. The boring bits were mainly filled by finding new ways to wind up Paddy Kenny and/or the Leeds fans.

Did I miss the goal? Yes.
Do I care ? No
I was more worried about my 9 year old vomiting into a bag to be honest!

Stayed til the bitter end but paid the price as i didn't get home to Wokkers til 11.15!

I know it annoys some folk, but it's like Wembley - getting away after a match can be dreadful and it's no wonder people are tempted to sneak off early to try and avoid the rush or get on the first bus.

When (if) they expand the stadium, they've got to sort the traffic out. A park n ride on the other side of J11 would be a good start.

Yes. Couldn't be arsed to wait ten minutes whilst the North stand gimmers stood blocking the stair exits clapping the team off. Especially as I had the final part of a 200 mile round trip to do.

Am I upset? No.

It really grinds my gears that the station at Green Park wasn't a goer. That would've sorted everything out, those shuttle buses are hopeless.

it's almost like people are adults and are allowed to make their own minds up how to watch the entertainment which they themselves have paid for.

P!ssed Off
Maguire Who cares if people missed the goal? You don't pay to see the goal, you pay to see 90+ mins of professional football, of which goals sometimes play a part.

I just about made it back to see the goal but tbh I didn't really care - it was a 0-0 game all day long and an unlikely winner didn't exactly ignite the flames of passion.

If it's a deserved late goal after a decent match then that's one thing. A crappy goal at the end of a snoozefest is not something I'm going to jump up and down celebrating for anymore. I just can't be arsed to pretend to be excited.

I left after 25 minutes on Sunday and watched the rest of the game on TV in the hotel with a Guinness and a couple of rum and cokes.

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Mental scenes in the course after the goal, celebration with no steps to worry about.
