Didn't Murty start off like this, big wedge - at the time - paid for a player who got injured almost immediately then failed to appear at all for about 12-18 months, so much so that when he did appear he got a hearty round of "who the ******* hell are you".

No Fixed Abode The new Jason Roberts.

Meh, he was alright for a bit. More like an older Daniel Carrico.

It's almost as if he did his ankle jumping down off the treatment table.

A striker averaging a goal every 4+ games
On £25k+ a week

A poor decision made by AZ. Just Bridge, Drenthe. And now Samrit with Ferdinand.

Whilst hindsight is always 20/20 I think lumping Bridge in that lot is kind of unfair.

At the time he signed he had just played a full season in the championship making the PFA team of the year if memory serves. On paper it was a perfectly good signing for a player that wasn't that old.

Not anti Pog as a player really, just that we are paying him twice what he is worth...at least he appears to be a genuine pro who does his best to earn his corn......Royston on the other hand comes across VERY differently...

Completely agree about Bridge. Big season for Brighton before signing for us, and at the beginning of the season before he broke he was easily our best player. Right decision to sign him, unfortunate result.
