Dirk Gently Plus the move back to a consistent 4-4-2, with minor changes only to suit the opposition, rather than wholesale changes each match.

Disappointing that the players didn't seem able to adapt, but at least we're recognising their limitations and playing to them.



plus we close down the opposition some of the time when we dont have the ball....under rodgers if we lost the ball we took forever to close down the opposition....ah look its in the net!

Interesting that we've actually played more games under McDermott in a 4-2-3-1 than 4-4-2. Which tells me it wasn't the formation, or the player being incapable of playing in it so much as the man in charge just being oxf*rd useless...
