I think the fact that people who are still questioning this decision shows how embarassing most of our supporters are. McDermott left nearly 2 years ago for Oxf*rd sake. Get over it. I was disappointed to see him go but can we debating whether it was the right choice or not. The fact is people can slag the decision off all they like but it's not going to change anything.

Id like to see him return to the club in the future as he did scout some gems like Doyle, Long etc. But please, stop arguing that sacking him was wrong and close this thread!

Extended-Phenotype It's important people like Leon exist though, to remind us what losing is.

serious

I'm not the one who got ripped off by his ex for a few K and went crying to AE for advice.

You act mean but if we met I bet you’d be begging me for it. Though judging by your convicted rapist mugshots on AE I reckon your arse is like an open bag of leaves a gardener has left flapping on a breezy lawn.

Man Friday I think you're spot on with your observation. Still, I shouldn't be too harsh - the problem with being young I guess. I'm thinking he's in his late 20's, went to university and therefore believes he's really witty and super clever (whereas everyone goes to university these days), not professionally qualified, not married, no kids, lives with parents, a handful of like-minded chums.

Ooh. Threatened much?

Fear not, the day the last vestige of defence disappears for the 270 who voted yes, Platypuss will come to the rescue of his fellow Hobnob pr*cks.

PS. Not that I think everyone who voted Yes is a pr*ck, just the arrogant twats who slagged off those with an opposing view.

Did you just type Oxf*rd instead of just oxf*rd swearing? We haven't got this collective pact where we censor ourselves with the word oxf*rd, it's all automatic.

Extended-Phenotype Yeah yeah, this is boring

leon, do you prefer an upright vacuum cleaner or one of those little R2D2 type ones with the long hose? Ours is broken and I'm looking for a new one - not really sure what kind to get tbh.

Henry, every time. His little red face cheers me up no end, Especially when he keeps falling over every time he moves. It's like going on a pub crawl with a little drunken red pixie.

Kinda exhausting vacuuming the house with a w&nkered midget, though. Think I want to go bagless as well (I don't mean castration here) - we are just rubbish at buying the bags, which means the vacuum cleaner stops working, which means we stop vacuuming the house.

Might go to John Lewis tonight and have a look at some, though inevitably a man with a box of dirt will jump out from behind the latest Dyson and want me to vacuum in public - an act that somehow feels wrong imo.

You're all talking bollox.
The little green one's Percy
The little blue one is Thomas
The red one's not Henry, it's James
Henry is actually the big green one

Yeah, really. There's also a fukoff great big blue one called Gordon.
Saw them on Fireball XL5 once
And there's another brown one. Can't remember it's name, but it was normally covered in mixed fruit jam. It only spoke Portuguese.

Yes and yes. That's George, their son. He's waterproof, presumably as a result of the inbreeding.

It's easily done. We called our steam iron Derek. It was so temperamental that we took it back to the shop.
In the repair shop they found it to be a female. You can imagine our embarrassment.

I share E-P's incredulity. I'm baffled that someone could forget the brief spell where Henry was portrayed as blue.
