I'm really looking forward to hopefully seeing the lad get some game time tomorrow! He sounds like he can't wait to show he has quality.

I personally think he's using Reading as a stepping stone.

its not like we paid a huge amount for him, hopefully he turns out to be a bargain buy and sorts out the defence. even if he goes somewhere else i cant see us loosing money...

Well lets hope so because at least then he'll have to be good.

Thought he did Okay for his first appearance. Looked a bit rusty and needs to get macth fit and sharp quickly. Certainly saw signs he will be OK in the Chump next year.

More importantly, we actually kept hold of the ball

We used the ball better, playing some nice passing. He looked rusty and a bit off the pace. The biggest problem was he just couldn't position himself properly. He should have been the one picking up Morrison and that guy was in as much space first half as he was when we went 4-4-2.

But, given he's hardly played all season, he deserves a few games to get up to speed.

BBCRB were absolutely slating him. Said it was the single worst debut ever for Reading. I have never heard to much contempt and disgust listening to the commentary today.

Well don't let that misguide you. As stated before, it was really only his positioning. Plenty of quality.

he was terrible tracking runners from midfield today

cant judge him on a debut when he's not match fit though....

Agree.

Embarrassing performance today with a coupe of bright spots.

Give him match fitness and let him settle then I'll judge him. Nt yet.

Saying he had bright spots is a bit generous tbh.

Looked completely out of his depth and was poor at best.
