He can't play up front on his own, and lately when he's got chances he's scuffed them. I wouldn't rate him either tbh.

andrew1957 ALF definitely off judging by the interview he has just given.

Adkins clearly does not rate him.

League 1 here we come.

judging by your user name you are mid 50s, if so will you stop acting like a spoiled brat

If he left we don't have decent striker in the team !!.

Rolf Harris: Smart boy.... relating someone you don't know to someone you assume is guilty and trying to tar them with a brush that doesn't exist yet .... purely by a guess at their age. tw@t

He's limited, how many times has he scored when he's started? I don't think he's a bad player, especially at Championship level but he's no Lambert he just doesn't have the all round game sadly.

I've heard he wants to move back up north and if Reading can capitalise on his good January and long contract by getting £3-4m I think you snap someone's hands off.

Even so, nothing against the bloke.

with our parachute money I would like us to keep Pog, I think he could make a big impact in the CC. he looked good first half today when we were playing it to feet,

Don't think we will - but I would like to keep him too. He is a great finisher and when we start creating more chances he will put them away.

With the World Cup coming up the summer after this you'll be lucky. Somehow I can't see Capello popping along to watch a Chump game next year.

Chris Hughton made a comment about how fantastic Guthrie was today. He certainly wan't awful, but it seemed a bit over the too to me. Might be bollox, Reading's not been great for him, and I can see him at Norwich.

Or...

Could be to do with the fact that Guthrie was a key player for him in winning the Championship at the Toon.

Got plenty wrong, but again he looked a cut above our other midfield options to me. If he can actually find proper form he;ll be a great great asset next season.

Realistically I can see almost any player leaving in the summer. Except some such as Akpan, Blackman. Almost every player is either 1. Going to think they can play at a higher level and so jump at a move or 2. Be out of favour with Adkins/ not good enough and leave.
Some more likely than others.

Like what NA is trying to do. Just a shame he did not have enough time this season. Looking forward to next season probably 6 or 7 out and 4 in. Top 6 should be possible but will be a slog!

I agree.

Out because of 1: Pearce, Le Fondre (if he can find a club), poss Federici

Out because of 2: McAnuff, Leigterwood, Harte, Shorey, Tabb, Hunt

I think that Pog will stay if we can resolve wage issues.

In: Cheapish, young left back. Attacking midfielder. Striker with pace.
