Hoping though no-one picked up any problems today and that none of those that might be on international duty (Loum, Joao, Hoilett, Rahman and Yiadom) come back damaged.

Mid Sussex Royal Has Joao been called up by the Portugal senior squad? Must have missed that.

Yiadom defs not called up this time

International watch -

João now represents Angola (but hasn't been called up since March)

Yiadom is in the World Cup 2022 Panini album but has fallen out of favour with Ghana

Amadou Mbengue is away with the Senegal U23s

He may be out on loan but Southwood has been called up for Northern Ireland

I noticed the Southwood updates from people stopped when he kept a couple of cleansheets and they started picking up points.

Or they just forgot about him. Anyone know how Puscas is getting on? Saw he scored a couple for Romania

Pretty much this. He's out on loan for the season and won't be here next year. Not remotely interested in how he does. Lumley has proven to be a more than adequate replacement.

Puscas has been on the bench for the last 3 Genoa matches, coming off the bench once and playing 13 minutes in a 1-0 defeat away to Palermo.

The only person who provides Southwood updates is you, not really bothered how our 3rd choice goalkeeper is doing on loan at a mediocre L1 side when our GK's are doing fine themselves.

This isn't true. I haven’t provided any updates about his time at Cheltenham. It was Paul and, I think, Hound.

My apologies then. The only person who gives a toss about Southwood at this point, is you.

Satisfied with our GK department now to be honest, he can stay and be 3rd choice next season or move on. Not much more to be said.

Back just in time for the world cup then. Great chance for NGW to establish himself, was absolutely excellent today.

Been good in every appearance. I'd have him first choice, comfortably.

His pace and positivity offers us a much needed extra outlet.

Andy Yiadom is also injured and a major doubt for Norwich with ankle and calf problems. Still at least it means he may go the next 8 games without being booked and avoid a suspension.

So better to miss 6-8 games injured than 2 games suspended

Both full backs crocked doesn't really help us but NGW did well yesterday so hopefully more of the same from him. Tougher ask in the week granted.

Why not do both? He'd have been better off trying to get booked yesterday just before he was subbed off

Yiadom has been playing more as a RCB but him being out means we only have 3 fit senior CBs, which isn't ideal when you play 3.

Guess Loum or Mbengue can slot in there if needed though.

Reading FC injury update:

• Yiadom's injury 'did not look good.'

• Rahman faces a month on the sidelines.

• Azeez and Long will be another two weeks.

• Dann and Moore wont be back this calendar year.

• Sarr will be out for six or seven weeks.

Don't get how the diagnosis re Sarr has gone from 2 weeks to 6-7 weeks since the weekend so now not back until after the World Cup.

We look very short at centre half with 10 more games in 6 weeks, particularly if Yiadom is out for a while.

The Moore/Dann situation is a nightmare, Moore was supposed to be early November, it seems like the club maybe don't want him anywhere near the first team.
