Snowflake Royal Surprisingly good read that

'Greed.

He always seemed to have a bit of a dodgy reputation but everyone who's met him says he's nothing like that and is a hard-worker and an absolutely dedicated student of the game, and the couple of times I've met him he's always come across as a smashing bloke.

His episode of Undr the Cosh was good, and he obviously loved Coppell. Same stories (mostly) as the interview, but with more detail.

It does feel like he got his head turned when we first went up, he didn't perform as he could have done and that he regrets it somewhat.

rabidbee cites the Under the Cosh podcast, yes, would recommend. Not as funny as Glen Little's which is a riot, but well worth the investment of time.

He was so articulate and thoughtful on that episode, in stark contrast to the three plonkers who present it.

I have a deep affinity for every member of the 106 squad, and when they pop up I love hearing them.

See Yak was back in Reading yesterday with his mate Mbengue

Do wonder if we sell Garcia as likely there maybe something we can do there. Would benefit us short term

I've never watched that before and it was interesting to hear Lita speak. As you say comes across well and very articulate.

But I watched it despite the other 3 presenters! I hate this sort of lads lads lads bollocks, where they're all talking and laughing loudly and speaking over each other.

Glen Little was good value for money, but Mark Crossley’s stories/impressions are the best.

Martin Allen is good because the usual presenters are actually scared of him

Tom Holmes has been made available for transfer this window; had a brief spell in the team recently but was only covering injuries. Not really worked out for him same as Tmac.

Holmes was always a poor move, as he's never going to get into a PL / parachute Champ team.

McIntyre is just a broken wreck, if he ever stayed fit for long he'd be good.

Glad he got to see a win... he was a STH when he was young, wasn't he?

Interesting to read that Kevin Danso, who Spurs have signed today from Lens, started off in our academy (BBC report).

Never heard of him...anyone know what age he was with us and when released?

He was, and so were Tom Mc and his dad. Not sure if his dad still goes or if he is now attending Portsmouth games (when Tom is in the squad).

Bog knows how he got a stint in Reading’s academy! He was born in Austria in 1998 and moved with his family to Milton Keynes in 2004. Reading, of course, played him as a striker in the Academy under 8s/9s but he’s made it as a centre back after stints at franchise, Augsburg and Lens. Did previously play 8 games on loan at Southampton in the PL in 2019/2020.

Which makes it even weirder that some Reading fans take so much joy in him doing badly, while at the same time worship Olise, who couldn't give less of a shit about Reading.

Dunno about worship Olise - everyone can see he is a high quality player (unlike TMc and Holmes).

Not sure anyone is under any illusion that he loves this club though. I’m certainly not but doesn’t bother me in the slightest
