I can't believe why, but seeing Colin on Sky sports I actually felt sorry for him. Maybe because we were becoming good rivals, and he always created a game at the Stad, where we enjoyed winning.

We needed Sheff Utd to stay up as next season they would have been big candidates for relegation. West Ham though should do well with all the money they will spend and the quality they have already. Also Sheff Utd were a guaranteed 6 points a season

for me, i feel its too early to speculate about next season. But i am exceptionably proud of the team, and their acheivments this year.

Well done lads... You've done us, and yourselves proud.

Just back from the game. Cracking match, brilliant atmosphere in the away end and once again, a superb never say die performance. Bryn was immence in midfield. The fans gave the players a great reception at the end, which was reciprocated. Only downer was the performance of Alan Wiley, ridiculous to allow play to continue with Marcus injured but we need to learn to play to the whistle and his interpretation of the advantage law was bizarre to say the least. Was Bentley onside for the second? I'm not convinced though Shorey gave the ball away far too easily.

One thing made me laugh today when Ryan Nelson went tumbling over the hoarding. He would have had a soft landing if the killjoy stewards hadn't burst all the inflatables.

BBC This performance encapsulated all the attributes that have seen them adjust almost effortlessly to the rigours of the Premiership as they allied unstinting commitment to some neat football.

Sums it up, I couldn't have put it better myself. Europe wasn't to be but I was truly proud of the team and the fans today. What a season!!

Hahnemann has 3 broken fingers.
Good time to get injured, Marcus! Well done!

First goal, Hunt corner from the right, Seol sneaks in with a late run and powers a header inside the back post from the corner of the 6yd box.

Second goal, Free kick on the right taken by DLC (I think) Doyle loses his marker and plants a downward header past Freidel from from the edge of the 6yd box.

Third goal, Lita brought down a yard outside the area. Kick is blocked and ricochets to Bryn who smacks it into the bottom corner from 20yds.

3 goals from set pieces, the first two well executed, the third an excellent finish.

Forgot to add earlier, excellent inflatable action before the game, up there with Hillsborough last season. The JCB was genius. Own up, who brought the 4ft inflatable penis, which was sadly confiscated by a steward when someone pointed it accusingly at Alan Wiley. No doubt it will re-appear at Ewood next season dressed in a flourescent orange jacket.

Excellent on the radio. And was always cheering the goals

4th goal disallowed ???

Not in Europe (don't mind that) but plenty to aim for next season.TO BETTER 8th place

Actually, I'm sorry to see Sheff Utd go down. Always give us good games (and we always WIN )

Have watched Phil's career develop as his brother used to play at Shrewsbury.

If he is anything like Steve, he will be down to earth, hard working, and a jolly decent fellow with plenty of time for supporters. Have always thought Phil would be good at Reading.

Am I right in saying that Arsenal are the only team to have done the double over us in the league?

Yes Ingimarsson was judged to have fouled a Blackburn player before putting it in but tbh, I didn't see much wrong with it.

weren't this season though were they?

Our record against SU is awesome in recent years.

I've always had a soft spot for the team and the fans (I even quite like Colin!), unlike WH and their arrogant cockney, cheeky-chappy w*nker fans.

Am more than a bit gutted SU are down
