Things not so peachy on Humberside. Whilst the daggers aren't necessarily out for Selles, there are a couple of familiar observations in there.
That is a little bit mad to my mind. Everything I'd seen suggested he was doing alright. They were consistent before he arrived.
Quick count gave me
before W3 D6 L10
after W8 D5 L9
Anyway.
Their form is largely mid table since he's arrived....they haven't been able to pull away from the bottom of the table as all the sides down there are picking up points.
They have 44 points from 41 games, we stayed up more than once on less than that after 46.
In 2018 we stayed up with 43 without anyone having points deductions. 47 in 2019, but Rotherham in 22nd only got 40. Then well clear in 2020 and 2021, but then 41 in 2022 (admittedly skewed by deductions for ourselves and Derby).
The bottom 2 this time are on 40 with 4 games left. Hull are on 45 with 4 games to go. In many seasons, they would be a couple of points away from safety, it just happens to be extra competitive at the bottom this year.
