KEBE KARACAN ANTONIO

I'd swap Kebe and McAnuff around, then I'd be very happy.

Don't care what the side is just as long as Pearce isn't in it.

It doesn't really matter what strikers or attacking central midfielders we play..they are all shit.

Why is it that after having one of his arguably best games in a Reading shirt (Crystal Palace) are we now ready to dump Shane Long on the scrapheap . In my opinion he does a very good albeit thankless job playing the lone man role upfront , is the best player at the club at holding up the ball and wins many headers he shouldnt .

Id go Shane & Noel up top in a 4 - 1 - 3 - 2 formation !

Yep that would work, suppose they could change throughout the game if required

Wimb Well time to put yesterday's result and move forward....

A clear week ahead means that on paper we'll have every member of the squad available for selection, except for Howard.

For me, I'd set this team out and stick with it for at least the next 3 games.

(4-4-2)

Feds

Harte (I'd be tempted to play Armstrong but after so long out best not to rush him)
Khizanishvili
Mills
Griffin

McAnuff
Gunnarsson
Karacan
Kebe

Hunt
Church (not got much against Long, but Hunt had his best spell when playing with Doyle and I see more of Doyle in Church then I do in Long)

This ^^^^ And for those who are fans of Antonio. Give me a break!

Agree about Antonio. Was it the opening game he came on and ran around like a lollaping headless chicken? Hope im wrong, but I dont see much potential in him to be honest.

Ask Southampton fans what they think of him - flailing arms?! People on here loved Harper.

hes raw as hell, and probably not ready yet, but to dismiss him out of hand is daft- clearly has potential

Rodgers seems to be doing a good job at Swansea, he took over a settled team signed a couple of players and they are doing really well.

Where's Coppell now? If he was as good a manager as you make out he is he'd be managing in the Premiership still now for a far bigger club than us. Rodgers is showing why we shouldn't have got rid of him.

Wimb
paultheroyal How long is Tabb out for?

Last I heard BBC Berks were suggesting he'd be match fit by November...

According to the OS (dated 20th September) it says he will be out for another couple of weeks.
