Big Foot Steve Blatherwick

 Please

Wright was outstanding in a dire, dire, dire team. He was almost unstoppable.

Wright was a very steadying influence and one of if not the best keeper between Shaka and Hahnemann.

Upson was just superb though, little surprise how many clean sheets we kept when he was part of the team.

Mentions to Griffin for helping stabilise the ship last season and to Kenny Brown who always did a decent job.

Jerry St Clair Steve Archibald.

You are BANG wrong. Archibald was in fact a free agent and on trial. Read the small print in his cone-tract.

Is this the point where Nigel Vaughan warrants a mention...?

Huntley & Palmer Mark McKeever, mainly because he was the highlight of a pretty awful spell for us having just been relegated to Div 2. Provided me with hope that there were better things to come, shame we bottled it post Man City that season, as I remember walking away from the Bournemouth away game with Magic Mark McKeever having scored the winner thinking we had a sniff of the playoffs

+1.

And wot no Steve Mautone? (here on loan).

Remembers my old man saying at the time, how small he was and a lightweight, plus how on earth was he a footballer! Me being a midget at that time, was even taller than him.

Nigel V was brilliant for NCAFC

Didn't realise he'd played a handful of games for RFC
