I think he is the worst captain we've ever had. Griff of Jobi would be much better candidates for it.

WoodleyRoyal Is this bloke the worst captain the club has ever had?

Certainly the worst player we've splashed 7 figures on. I struggle to find anything I like about the bloke too.

He looks a bit like you?

if he gets the team defending more positively then the fans will start sounding more positive

Yeh, perhaps he should stop picking Harte to play every week.

The thing that I find frustrating about Mills is that he has the physical attributes to be a monster at this level but it seems that his head isn't right. Too often it seems like he dips in and out of concentration and as far as the team is concerned that is a hindrance.

At times he can seem an outstanding defender but at others he looks like a bit of a liability. Personally I don't think it suits him being captain as he doesn't seem like he copes with pressure well.

If he sorts his performances out I couldn't care what he says in the press about us or anything else to be honest.

What's going on here today? Is everything coloured by the fact we let in three against Palace? But two of those were Ingi's fault. Forget the fact that Mills's personality annoys you, how well are we defending? Pretty good, I think. You have to go back to November for the previous time we let in three, and we only let in two twice in the same period. The reason for all the draws has not been the defence.

Heres an idea Millsy - if the back four that you lead so badly stop defending like Cirque du Soleil I'll be a bit more optimistic once in a while.

Matt.....If you can't take the criticism / feedback from the fans it is time to move on.

Can't you see that his comments are the blinkered ones of a player trying to concentrate on the match and be positive? It's essential that players reject any negativity coming from the fans, whether it's justified or not. Personally, I'm only too glad he's not going out there tonight thinking we don't stand a chance because our defence is like the Cirque du Soleil.

The thing that riles me is if he thinks he doesn’t have a very good rapor with the fans why then come out and put yourself in the firing line? He is either thick as pig sh1t or he is deliberately trying to wind us up and sadly i think its the later

I wonder if Mills is too thick to be able to spell 'rapport'?

Jeez - he's entitled to his opinion and his opinion is based on the moaning he must hear every game. All he's trying to do is whip up a bit of excitement for the game tonight and who can blame him. He's a young lad, I'm not totally sure he should be captain yet - but he is, and as such, we should be behind him and the other players that everyone knocks - they play for OUR team and we're in the 5th round of the FA cup for heaven's sake!

There are always boo boys that the fans pick on - always have been, always will be - but I think a lot of criticism of Mills is unfounded. Plus he's the best looking player in the team - so you can all do one!

Maybe he's trying the tried and tested HNA? method of slagging someone off to improve their performance.

Agreed. Apart from that last line. Although having thought about it, that's probably true as well. Have we got the ugliest team in the league? Discuss.

Absolute prick. Can’t stand him and I’m embarrassed that he’s captain of my team.

I wouldn't be surprised if, bereft of a login, this is the only way Millsy can fish out a 12 pager on The Team board.
