FiNeRaIn Was impressed with boro's 16 year old left back Bennett.

Born 28/03/1990 if that helps, so will be 21 at the end of the month. Now made 30(6) starts for Middlesbrough. Has already played against us at the Mad Stad, 03/10/09 when Boro won 2-0, when Neil Swarburck, (today's ref), was also the ref.

Gordons Cumming
Sarah Star Were 'Boro playing a weakened side? They seemed very young and all numbers in the 20s and 30s apart from their 9 and 10.

Looked more like a dive than a penalty fom where I was sitting. What did it look like from the North stand?

Lita dived. No doubt about it. He's better at it than Long.

Yes Boro were fielding a weakened side. They have a lot of injuries.

BTW. Boyd won't be at Boro next season. You could see from his body language that he didn't want to be there.
His desperate pleading with Lita to let him take the penalty instead was quite pathetic. Lita only thinks about himself.

Probably to keep his brace of goals tally against us intact. He is actually starting to play open football instead of leaning back in for the free kick. Thankfully his second goal meant nothing other than impacting on goal difference.

Svlad Cjelli Have to feel sorry for young Ripley (Stuart's boy, BTW) - a real baptism of fire.
Thought (under the circumstances) he acquitted himself well....two or three fine saves and narrowing JK's angle nicely for the one on one

SLAMMED I don't think anyone had a bad game. Gunarsson's ball down the wing for our first was perfect. Think Manset should have come on for Long. Church just isn't good enough.

Church gets too many chances. Williams deserves a chance from the bench. Church needs a season in L1 or just flog the dead horse.

Give the guy a bloody break he's a full international FFS!

But only for Wales.

SHORT AND CURLY Middlesborough are probably the poorest team I have seen this season.

Have you forgotten that they beat us 3 - 1 up there?

Look at what confidence has done for Long... it isn't happening for Church this season... doesn't make him shit.

I don't think it's confidence with Long.

I just think he's getting better because he's getting a lot of minutes
and he's being well-coached.

Church isn't shit, you're right. But at the moment nothing will work for him.

He's starting to play with more energy now, and if he gets a coupla goals I expect he'll get more on top

Probably not as bad as Mills' dive in the first half.

From the East stand I thought it was a pen. Just can't believed he scored it he missed all his ones he took for us.

LOLz he's really not very good you know

'greed with Floyd wrt the game, amazingly tepid for a 5-2 win, but a 5-2 win nonetheless. thought Lita prolly went down too easily for the pen at the time but having seen the replay he got quite a shove form Mills. Bit of a sympathy pen either way.
Hunt might not have scored but he's playing with a new lease of life
Boris did a decent job again, but dropped quite the bollock for Boro's first
Not sure how Harte managed to get away with taking the free kick for his first from exactly where he wanted to, good skillz though
Long's first was marvellous
