Is promotion good?

Do bears shit in the woods?

These are, indeed, questions.

rhroyal
loyalroyal4life It is good if we financially attempt to make a go at staying up by spending money where it is needed. If you can stay in the prem for 2 years then try build from there then you could end up like Stoke :P

That's the thing. Being like Stoke doesn't excite me. What has ever happened to make their life interesting in the last couple of years?

If we end up beating Stoke, then that's a good thing.

I would be satisfied as a mid table side in the Premier League for these reasons:

1) People actually hear about us - especially abroad
2) People watch us play
3) For the rare moments when you beat a big team
4) For the rare moments when you do something amazing and the world can watch it
5) The club's value rises significantly
6) We can sign better players
7) All our players values increase

These are my cons:

1) We will lose a LOT more
2) Tickets are more expensive and harder to get
3) We could get demolished every now and then
4) The season could become a struggle - but this arguably brings excitement
5) We can't win anything (although Birmingham managed the League Cup this season)

Maguire Is promotion good?

Err yes, it's generally recognised as being a positive. Some might even suggest it's the ultimate goal of the season.

Next question.

He does explain his reasons for asking the question, if you bothered reading the whole post.
He actually makes a number of valid points why promotion might be an issue, but I guess you were too busy stating the obvious
