If we're going to take the thread off at a tangent to guess where Bandini leaves then I wouldn't say Wormwood Scrubs. (Does anyone actually live there anyway apart from those serving a jail term?)

I'd hazard a guess at Finchley.

Its an area with the extremes of Hillingdon, Stanmore, Finchley, Golders Green, Maida Vale, Ealing, Northolt.
