LoyalRoyalFan Sounded fantastic on the TV. Great support.

The Watford fans are dire. I don't think you can complain about our home support because it's miles better than that.

Kebe has to be off... The team didn't celebrate with him for his goal, and he didn't acknowledge McDermott when being subbed.

Kebe has lost the dressing room...

Thoroughly deserved the three points. Hunt, rhk and Jem were supers. Federici didn't have a lot to do.

Little bit disappointed with cummins for their goal. You should never go studs first when facing your own goal. The ball can only go one way. At least it didn't cost us.

I never though at any point we were going to lose the game. Haven't seen hrk challenge yet but heard it should have been a red. Swings and roundabouts. We should have had a pen In the second half and possibly one in the first. How their 11 stayed on the pitch is beyond me.

Disappointed with Kebe for not a acknowledging the fans when he was taken off. Not sure what that means.

And keeping the ball in the corner for 2 mins was class.

A good team performance. Never really looked troubled. Big 5 games coming up!

Yep, good vocal support which I imagine was just as well for the TV as otherwise it would probably have sounded like a game played behind closed doors. The Watford support was indeed shocking, I think we heard one shout of 'yellows' the whole game.

Not quite sure why the Watford Mascot chose to do it's Dad dancing in front of the away fans but fair play to him/her they even turned out to be the drummer, desperately trying to wake the home fans from their slumber.

A battling performance with very few chances. The first half almost reminded me of the warm up before the match where they split into two teams and try to retain possession with no end product.

Church ran and ran and ran and, well ran not much more I can say.
Hunt put a good shift in and was always involved.
Tabb and Jem get the joint MOM from me, great engine room.
Kebe?? If his brain worked as quick as his legs do he'd be some player, just makes too many wrong decisions.

Absolute quality for the last 4 minutes which were spent at the corner flag in front of the Reading fans. Jem and Noel with the fancy footwork which must have been so infuriating for the Watford players.

Not a classic, it was never likely to be, but three points just about deserved. :D

My daughter reckons the mascot was probably the manager of Watford's U17 girls team. He is known to be a bit mad and prone to teasing the away fans. Ended up having things thrown at him when he did it in front of the Cardiff fans!

Other than his header he was shite. Lets face it in his Reading career he's played well about 30% of the time and this season other than 1/2 moments he's been mainly crap. I'd much rather a consistent right winger even if it means less magic moments which face it...are few and far between these days. The clubs been quite good to Jimmy, he's starting to strike me as one of those obnoxious greedy mercenaries so i'd quite happily get shot.

and one of our last Premiership acquisitions.

I dont think there are many issues with JK when he is playing right now....its just the way JK plays

Remember the introductory cameo away at Everton when he cut through Goodison like a scapel through thawed ice cream?....then for weeks after...nothing.

He's a five games a season stunner....a ten games a season provider....then the remainder a sulky bambii

I don't think the January transfer mularkey has affected him that much...he's just JK

Take him for what he is

Bit of a shite game with few chances.

Altho saying this I thought in particular it was a fine result.

HRK and Tabb came in and looked the part. Jem was class. Fantastic finish to the game.

I too am very concerned about the Kebe situation. I also noticed no one went to him for the goal (all to HRK) and his sulky walk off after being subbed altho I did notice he had an ice pack on his knee? Kebe is def off. But cue HRK's fine performance maybe he can make the step up.

Watford were bad, terrible stadium and didn't hear the fans get behind their team once!!

Like many, when I saw we were playing watford my expectation level of a high tempo passing fixture with lots of chances being created was not especially high.

One of the better away atmospheres this season. Fcuking awful home fans, almost as bad as Ipswich.

I hate losing to those jumped up plastic Paddys
I thought we looked good for the draw until the substitutions. Readings was an attacking change ours was one that had yet to show a positive when deployed
Was it me or was Loach flat footed for their second goal?
Positives Bauben and Deeney had decent games, Nosworthy very good again
Look forward to watch a recorded version on tv but enjoying a pint in walkabout for now.
But I do f'ing hate them Birks from Birkshire

Very solid away performance I thought. Particularly impressive were Pearce, Jem and Noel.

Ref did his best to stop us winning it though.

LOL! They had ONE shot on goal the entire match, and we scored an own goal.
One single shot on goal, from a distance, free kick which Feds saved easily and displayed his hollywood skills.

They had nothing. After the match I sat here thinking, they are doomed to go down. Can there be any worse teams in this division? If so, how poor are they?
Is there another team which have mustered only one shot on goal against us?

Two at least. Deeney's straight at Federici which he punched back at the penalty spot and the freekick.

The ref was equally shite for both sides and eas very lenient. Got both Penalty calls right IMO.

Disagree.

Hunt was blatantly pushed in the first half, admittedly would have been a very soft one, but anywhere else on the pitch and its a foul.
Absolute stone-wall pen in the second half with the watford defender quite clearly taking Noel's legs out.
Should have been a second yellow for their guy 15 seconds after his first. Ref bottled it.
Gave Watford several soft free kicks around our box.

Now I imagine you'll come back with their penalty shout and HRK's challenge. But tbh their forward was weak, and at least Pearce was actually going for the ball. Hal's 'vicious' challenge was one of those that looked worse in slow mo IMO.

Anyway, bit of a pointless argument now i s'pose, and either way we were deserving winners.
