I did wonder how hungry Kebe was to stay at the club.

I guess he was offered plenty of dough which must've helped.

He's been pineappleing for top flight football and I guess he hopes the Russians will help him realise his dream.

I heard that the contract included that he must perform to his potential at least once every 3 games or suffer financial fines.

Sorry for not reading the whole thread first, but is anyone else thinking the LOLs are on Kebe if this takeover falls through?

Perhaps SJM arranged the whole thing as a bit of a con to make him sign so we could flog him for millions in August?

Still, good news regardless of what happens with the takeover. :D

PS, do you think he can afford that Hawaian holiday now?

Is this the same Kebe everyone has been describing as 'disinterested' 'lazy' and also saying 'let him go'.

Now he's signed it's suddenly 'Gr8 news'.

*bites*

I think it's fair to assume that now he's signed we'll see a more focused Kebe.

You're his number 1 fan though Brendifer. At least you're not fickle.

He's Jimmy Kebe, He'll do what he wants! Think this chant swayed him to sign on

I think the fact that he signed the old contract makes it very clear he didn't stall for the money. If that would of been his aim he could of gone on a free in the summer and got a massive signing on fee.

I'll put up with the indifference and general disinterest just for that occassional moment of magic.

Good news. Right now we're a stronger team with Kebe than without him and I expect him to play an important role on this team for the rest of this one and future seasons. Glad he decided to stay nor do I damn him for wanting to leave and changing his mind. Hope we give him a rousing reception on Saturday if he is fit and in the starting line-up. A nice rousing chorus of "pull up your socks Jimmy" would be nice. 8)
